 Re: Borderlands

None of them get discarded if you just press X.. It just says you're full. Have no idea which one gets discarded when you hold X, probably the one you're carrying since it swaps.Comment

 Re: Borderlands

the clap trap never does anything anyways.. you get your quests from the guy inside the garage, the old man just outside the gate, the bulletin board next to the clap trap, and a guy on up the road after you jump over ramp to the 2nd part of that areaComment

 Re: Borderlands

True but you need him to start the garage sequence. I had to start a new character because I couldn't do anything. Bugged out on first attempt on the game, hopefully I dont get screwed again,Aaron

 Re: Borderlands

Thanks. I started off with the Soldier, then it bugged out before I could open the garage for the DR. Made the Hunter, got to 7. I think I'm going to try out Soldier again since I didn't get to really play him.

The chick looks interesting with her ranged spells (atleast I think thats what she uses)Aaron

I really like the Soldier's Turret, Me and Candyman were both Soldiers and are Turrets were the same, Our Turrets pretty much could kill anything we faced.Thanks. Re: Borderlands

It seems like Im the only one who isnt head over heels for this game. I'm only 3 hrs in, but the game just seems very repetitive. The enemy AI isnt challenging at all, and the fact of if you die or not usually just boils down to if you are facing too many enemies that have a high level compared to yours.

This game feels stale for me already. When you combine the repetitive gameplay and unsophisticated AI with a nonexistant story, I am not sure how some of you think this can be a sleeper GOTY candidate.

I will give it more time, probably start over with a new character this weekend and run through it with my buddy once he gets this, but I dont see myself playing this one that long. Comment

 Re: Borderlands

I'm having fun, but not sure it'll be deep enough like Fallout to keep me long term. Glad I GF'ed it though! almost at level 5 and hopefully will play more later. Not GOTY material though, you have to have a good story for that (at least to me). Uncharted 2 had me hooked from beginning to end.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

 Re: Borderlands

I played nonstop from 7:30-2am. First it was me and SlimKibbles, then Momentous joined, then it was just me, Momentous, and Dakkon, then just me and Dakkon, and finally I ended the night with me and Chubby. This game gets better and better the more I play. Oh and co-op is a necessity for some quests. I started off playing solo but when I got to the cave to find the shock crystals there was no way for me to finish it on my own.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
