When you were in our party last night, were you using a weapon with some sort of elemental damage or was it grenades? I got a shotgun tonight that ignores/removes a guy's shield, loving it

Me and Chubby got a few more levels in tonight, good times

It was both. I have a shotgun that does shock damage and since you guys were fighting lower level enemies it was destroying them.

Just picked this up via the BB deal, I hope I like it. I may have to take advantge if the BB deal again come Tuesday when Tekken and Rachet and clank come out. After Modern warfare 2 and god of war 1 and to hit next month I will be done this year lol. I haven't even finshed Uncharted 2 yet.

I messed around a but yesterday with Brick and go to level 3, it was funn I agree about the map complaint though.

Just picked this up via the BB deal, I hope I like it. I may have to take advantge if the BB deal again come Tuesday when Tekken and Rachet and clank come out. After Modern warfare 2 and god of war 1 and to hit next month I will be done this year lol. I haven't even finshed Uncharted 2 yet.

I've been so busy with work this past week I haven't really been able to play this game (or FIFA) since Wednesday. I'm looking forward to getting back into it with my level 13 Brick, but I'm sort of regretting my decision to play as Brick. His berserk mode just doesn't seem to do any damage to the enemies I was trying to fight the last time I played it.

I'm looking forward to getting back into it with my level 13 Brick, but I'm sort of regretting my decision to play as Brick. All of the characters special abilities are not that great starting out, but give it some time. I am a soldier and My turret is better than any weapon I have.

See, my problem is, in the heat of fire, I get so into the firefight that I completely forget about my turret. Then, as soon as the fights over, I realize I could have saved a bunch of bullets by using the turret. Oops.

I'm a level 16 right now, and after finishing Sledge's Safehouse (which was a pain in the arse), it's so much easier heading back through the Arid Hills to get back to the Badlands. Last time I went through to get the sniper rifle parts, I was a few levels lower, and it took me probably 5 tries to make it through (thanks to corrosive skags). This time, I plowed right back through without my shields even going down. I love feeling more empowered. That is, until I hit the next higher level area. Gotta find me some more high powered guns!

Like Cusefan said, give it time and boost that ability. I'm using Brick too and I've found myself using bezerk a little more often to regenerate my health more than fighting guys. I have only given melee damage like 2 points. I've spent more points developing red abilities in the middle, which probably isn't the best way to use him.

That's where I am right now. And, yes, it was a pain in the arse. Defeated the boss but trying to get out. I keep getting lost in there. lol

I found a Pistol that doesn't need to be reloaded and uses no ammo. it's called "The Dove". only 40 damage, 87.2 accuracy with a 3.7 fire rate, but has x2 fire damage.

I have 3 Orange color weapons, one called BLR Firehawk. a pistol with 58 damage with x4 fire damage. it has "Bring the HEAT!" in the stats section but I'm not sure what that means. but it is a very powerful pistol.

another Orange one is a Revolver called EQ11-B Incendiary Equalizer. 128 damage x2 fire damage. it has "Unending Firepower" which I've noticed means that it auto-regenerations ammo for Revolver.(I'm a hunter, not a soldier)

the 3rd is a Shotgun, SG100 Terrible Bulldog, 56 x9 damage. 20 shot clip, with "One Bad Day" in the stat, not sure what that means though. it doesn't do as much damage as my other shotgun I've been using.

Yea, Finding a good gun is a chore but thats where the addictiveness of this game really shines. I find myself playing just so I can find a better gun. Finding a gun that had good damage, good accuracy, fast fire rate, and some kind of elemental damage can be tough but its is very rewarding when you find it.

Right now My favorite repeater Pistol does 90 DMG, 85 Accuracy, 8. Firerate, and has fire X1.

yea, right now I don't really have a favorite, but the ones that seem the best are my pistols.

Reading this thread has convinced me ot buy the game. Only problem is that it's impossible to buy it in toronto today. I visited 2 stores and called 10! all sold out and all rented out.

Yea this game is a surprise hit, I do not think anyone is more suprised than 2K and gearbox because they just did not ship enough copies out to stores. Within 2 days after release, Stores across the country were sold out. Good luck getting a copy though, It is well worth it.
