It should say something in the character skill screen.
"Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)
With skill Mods they dont show up in your skill tree, you just got to remember what ones you have, its really useful if you want to save points like the stunnin bloodwing at 100%, get a mod that does +3 to it then only put it at 2, theres 3 points to put somewhere else.

Exactly...you just plan your spec based on the mods...
so because of work and some other circumstances, I hadn't played this since last Wednesday. By then I'd only reached level 11 and though I enjoyed it, I didn't completely understand why everybody was so in love with this game.
So tonight I finally get a chance to play again, do some coop with a friend and, yeah, this game is a ****ing blast. Perhaps because last time right when I had stopped most of the missions were pretty boring and my guy was low level and I had pretty crappy guns. Now I'm getting into some cool missions and starting to find so sweet guns and it was hard for to me to put tonight. Unfortunately I'll be busy most of the weekend, again, so I probably won't get a chance to play this until Tuesday. Hopefully the time passes fast.

Yeah, once you get past 15ish you end up with more missions and whatnot...it takes a little time to settle in, but ti's just addictive to find awesome guns, level up, etc. I love the grind, it's fun taking out camps with bandits in various ways.
Developer Gearbox Software will be releasing an update tomorrow at 2 A.M. CST for the Xbox 360 version of Borderlands. Gearbox also states they'll eventually release a patch for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions as well.
Here are the update notes:

fixed a bug in which players gibbed in arena combat disappeared
fixed a bug which caused the dollars counter to spin continuously
fixed a bug that caused the digger elevator to be unusable after completing the Find Tannis mission
Weapon mapping to the D-pad should no longer reverse left and right
various localization and other text and tooltip corrections
The introductory quests with CL4P-TP should now always progress properly all the time
Lilith's Phase Strike ability now works as intended
I've got to ask - does the scenery change at all? So far I've got two guys going, and I'm starting to already get a little tired of the scenery. Does it switch up at all - or is it just all desert, skags, and bandits?
Also - anyone know what's up with these challenges that pop up? I keep getting random "challenge complete!" things with big XP bonuses, but I can't find word of this anywhere so far.

There's caves as well as an industrial-ish plant and also snow areas.
So there's a little change, but not much? Mostly the same enemies over and over?
I'll try to do the PC equivalent of that, thanks.
Ya pretty much. Most of the time its either Skag or Bandits. No real variation in landscape other than the occassion town raid you do and cave system you need to wander. You do get into the mountains at one point though.
