I'm only at level 5 or 6. Can't remember if I leveled up after my last go around. Been way too busy during the work week to get a significant amount of game time in. This weekend, hopefully, I'll play some more and maybe get to level 10.



Wow, you're leveling fast or just played a whole lot before telling us.

I haven't noticed any slowdowns on the PS3, though. Then again, I never seem to notice frame rate issues that people talk about. I think I just never care.

I just got to level 27 last night! I think I am starting to dominate enemies with my combination. I just beat what was supposed to be a boss by staying back and sniping him without getting touched.

As much as I love it, especially the loot and levelling (i'm a big WoW fan) it is starting to get repetitive now.

If Borderlands does become a long term franchise, what are some things you guys would add to a sequel?

I think some different scenery would be nice. I get the point, it's like this baron desert type thing - but I'd far prefer different zones with different climates and scenery. That's the thing that really starts to bore me.

More types of enemies couldn't hurt either.

Armor loot. I'd like to be able to upgrade every aspect of my armor, head, chest, wrist, legs and feet. Bigger badder bosses, bosses that you NEED a group to beat. More "dungeons" and like Timmay said, more environments.

More climates/environments would be great. Maybe a few surprises mixed in that I can't think of right now...I don't want armor upgrades though; I really do like the simplicity of the game how it is without mucking through upgrades other than weapon choices.

Yea, I found a shotgun that has a 24 damage x12. Whatever the exact number is, it's insane for me. It's probably nothing compared to other guns you'll find later, but I'm knocking out people and creatures with one shot easy. It's amazing. I feel like I found a gold mine.

I accidentally spent an hour trying to kill a boss that I didn't realize was three levels higher than me. I was trying to figure out why his life bar just kept climbing back up so easily. Now he's only one level higher than me. I'm bringing my shot gun.

Started playing this again today and it's still a lot of fun. I think I'm almost near the end, have to re-start or run another toon.

I'm trying to find people that want to play co-op on the PS3. I don't normally play co-op, but I figure I should at least try.

360, I want to play some co-op eventually too...haven't so far just cause I've enjoyed single player and wanted to beat it on that first so nothing was ruined....

I've got a PS3 and I already run with three other guys but two of them are busy all the damn time. You're more than welcome to join-in with us. We hate the freaking mic system on PSN and Borderlands so we use a Ventrilo server instead to communicate.

I ran into someone with glitched guns the other day. This one guy had a Rocket that did like 400x3 damage but the catch is it had a high firerate and a 44 clip that never stoped fireing unless you switched weapons...-_-. Actually made the game lag when it was shot. Another gun was a smg that did like 800 damage and a high firerate again, the catch on this one was the middle of the gun was gone, I mean it wasnt there, lmao. Then the pistol he had was amazing, it was a 900 damage pistol but did x4 everything (Corosive, Fire, Explosive and Lightning). Of corse I didnt take anything at al, didnt need my game to corrupt because of that. Needless to say, I got my arse kicked in PvP.

Not a big FPS guy, wondering if the single player is worth buying. For reference, I know i'm renting MW2 since the Single Player there isn't the main draw.

Finally beat it tonight...fun, but not really a epic story. Then again, this game is more about killing guys in awesome ways! Might have to get the DLC....

Nope, like I said I dont use that type of stuff in games because of chances to currupt games plus if your just going to glitch your weapons that takes out half of the game for you. Borderlands thrives on its weapons system and makes you always try to find the best guns. I thought my Machine gun and snipers were pretty good until you see other peoples stuff. Only problem I dont know if other peoples guns are hacked or not now....I hope it doesnt get out of hand. I love the feeling of opening a chest and the excitement of this gun could be beter. I have always been a Loot Hoar when it comes to these type of games, Diablo, DA:O, Neverwinter Knights, etc....
