Re: Borderlands
do I suck or is this game kind of hard? I'm level 16 soldier and doing some of the normal quests I keep getting my *** kicked and having to regenerate and finally wear them down. sucks that you have to work past the same enemies again after dieing.
otherwise the game rocks!Comment

Re: Borderlands
It was pretty tough for me right about there until I learned I had missed a whole bunch of Bounty Board quests that boosted me up a bit. Grinding on skags and bandits instead of rolling around in the vehicle really helped the xp, too. You get like 1/4 of what you would on foot if you kill them in a vehicle, so I tend to drive up to a spot, hop out, and clear it.
I just tried to transfer some stuff for DakkoN, but right after I picked it up (he was the host), he canceled the game. My character didn't have the items on him, and they were gone from his inventory (he had dropped on the ground). Anybody had this happen?
I'm assuming if I would have hosted and he just dropped, left, came back on a different toon, etc, then it would have been fine...but the items just disappearing was brutal.Comment

Re: Borderlands
He means at the hub where you can change your name and your costume colors, there's an option to respec the skill points you've already spent. I'm level 20 and I think it cost me 3 or 4K the last time I did it, but it zeroes out all the skill points you've spent so you can respend them.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Re: Borderlands
I'm not into FPS but I like the RPG element, I am giving this a try. Can people playing on the PC play with people on the 360? That would be cool.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Borderlands
Decided to buy this on Steam - so I hope it's as good as everyone is ranting about. Took me forever to decide which version. I'm still a little disappointed I didn't go with the 360 for some reason.
edit: sweet - I can't even play it, get some "negative delta" error when I select new character.Last edited by MC Fatigue; 10-26-2009, 05:26 PM.Comment

Re: Borderlands
They definitely do take cover, but im SOOO glad they dont always do. cuz your usually fighting like 5-6 dudes and a couple hits and your shields are down, and 1 headshot doesnt drop a dude, especially if hes a level above you.
