I have thought about getting the GOTY edition because all the DLCs take up so much space on my hard drive, yet if I delete those then I delete all the progress my character has made and I don't want to do that. I would say for somebody looking to jump into Borderlands, the GOTY edition is a great idea.

You wouldn't save space anyways because the DLC isn't on the disc, instead codes are included to download the add-ons.

oh. that kind of sucks, but the GOTY edition does come with some new map or something that's not available elsewhere.

Sucks that they cant fit all the DLC of this stuff on the blu ray discs.

Just bought the new add-on for Borderlands, but I still have yet to play it. Loved the past 3 though. This game is always fun to play, helps pass the time. Now I have platinum I can aim for 100% trophies.

Keep in mind, according to Amazon, the DLC isn't actually on the disc. The disc contains Borderlands, and a voucher to download the add ons. So if you already own the game, I would just pay for the 4 DLC packs.

That's what I'm doing when I finish. I'm about 15 missions from finding the Vault.

yeah, especially since DLCs 1,2 and 3 are all on discounts this week on xbox live. I think they are half price or something.

On a different note, I've been playing this a lot lately. I'm trying to get a second character to 61.

And for those that don't know, a patch for the game will be released very soon (sometime before the end of October, according to Gearbox). It will allow all areas of the game to scale, meaning that once you do reach level 61 you can go back to areas like the Dahl Headlands, Old Haven, Crimson Fastness, etc. and fight enemies at the same level as you (or close to it). That means you can go get yourself a top-level weapon drop, for example a level 60 Sledge's Shotgun. I just got it for last week too from Gamestop online for that price, brand new. I think its a steal. Never got to play it before.

if you got it for 360 I could help out if you needed anything (which you will if you want to kill Crawmermax, **** we might need a full party to beat him). I've sunk a lot of time into this game so I'm aware of some tips and tricks. Sky, did you keep your character from the first time you got this or are you starting all over again?
