If you want to keep someone choose to induct them into the wardens. Even if you THINK one of the options is going to let you keep them around anyway.

          Re: Dragon Age: Origins

For those that have played on the PC and PS3, is there a significant difference?

My Mac specs (I'm going to be purchasing Parallels to run Windows XP or 7 very soon):

          Mac OS 10.6.6
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
          4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

I'll get it for PC if I can run it smoothly on my laptop, but I also don't want to play a clunky game on the PS3. I tried the Dragon Age II demo on my PS3 and didn't have a problem with the controls, but I also heard there were changes to the scheme to make it easier for PS3 users.

Anyone know the scoop on that for the first game?

Ah, can't use the site because I'm running on Mac.

The graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT.

I'm sure it fits the recommendations, but I doubt it'll run smoothly. Might just stick with the PS3 then.

Grats. I've still got to go through the dlc and Awakening as well. It's gonna be hard tomorrow knowing DA2 is on the hard drive waiting to be played.

Finally making headway through this grand adventure...my question is what is the best order to play all DA material? Finish main story first then all the DLC? If so, what order of DLC should I do?

                      Re: Dragon Age: Origins

According to the in-game stats, I have played for 44 hours and only completed 20 per cent of the game. Maybe those hours include other characters I created. Still that's not very good.

I'm playing on Hard level and really struggled at the beginning of the game when it seems like a mouse could destroy my party. Much easier now that my party is in the level 9-to-11 range.

Leliana's Song occurs before the events of the main game, so you can play that whenever. Darkspawn Chronicles is just an alternate ending to the main game where the darkspawn win (you get to kill the main characters).

                        Otherwise, the order is:

Origins -> Awakening -> Golems of Amgarrak -> Witch Hunt

I need help! I purchased the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition yesterday, when I try to install it I get nothing! I already have the original DAO but when I put in the Ultimate Edition expansion pack disc it just loads the regular game but nothing happens. What do I do?

Extra campaigns is greyed out, I can't access it. I will try that again when I get home

It still does not work. I get nothing when I put the extra content disc (disc 2) into the computer, the light blinks, then it goes to the play the game screen, when I hit play it says failed to authenticate the disc please insert the proper disc.
