Good stuff and the newness hasn't worn off yet.
That's what I love about the game it rewards you not just for getting kills and it makes you feel like your helping the team in other ways.

Tom Chick's review has me really considering picking this up. It's well written and he's somebody that seems to get it.

I've been really busy with Madden online franchise stuff the last few days, but I'm often times playing at night (and into the morning, at times)

Lately, my schedule has been turned upside down. Logged in for a while tonight already. Probably won't be on again until sometime in the wee hours of the morning. It really is random for me now in terms of a schedule. I suck anyway, if you play with me your winning % will drop considerably, so consider yourself fortunate.

That was probably one of the more accurate reviews I have read on this title. IGN's was pretty funny to me. It received a 7/10, but one of the reasons the reviewer didn't like it was that aiming was "strict" and didn't "cater to the casual gamer."

I would give is somewhere between an 8 - 8.5.

I usually like IGN's reviews, but I think they dropped the ball on this one. In fact they pulled a Scott Norwood. I have no idea how they could of given it a 7.0. I would of said AT LEAST an 8.0. But in reality, it's probably closer to a 8.4 - 8.6. I actually created an account just so I could boost the reader review score on IGN.

I think I'll stick to the OS non-sports gaming forum from now on for my non-sports reviews, either that or 1up.

Mag has me losing sleep. The more you play the game the better it gets. Guys are really getting more team oriented. Nothing like charging a area and taking cover and knowing if you happened to get in a jam, other people are their and got your back.

The sounds of the game are well done. Sounds like you are in the middle of a war zone when playing domination. The 360 really needs a game like this.

                      Gamespot Review: 8/10

MAG's big battlefields are a great place to wage war, as long as you can handle some of the rigors of combat.

When you first hear that MAG supports 256-player online matches, you may be inclined to picture hordes of soldiers swarming on top of one another and filling the air with thousands of bullets. The reality is that skirmishes play out on a much smaller scale, yet MAG still boasts some of the busiest battlefields in the genre. On the objective-rich maps, defeating the enemy squads arrayed against you demands individual skill and team coordination. Powerful rewards and intriguing command abilities await determined soldiers, making the tight combat all the more satisfying. There are some rough edges to contend with, however, including technical problems and a creeping sense of repetition. Yet though MAG is sometimes frustrating, it is more often engaging and occasionally thrilling. The sharp combat and exciting command roles make MAG a great destination for soldiers of fortune.

Well, there are grenade launchers deep in the skill tree...

Valor's actually doing pretty good tonight, I've been on 3 winning domination teams. 1 Defending against Raven, 1 Defending against SVER, and the unthinkable - 1 attacking SVER. I've never seen SVER get steamrolled like that on their map - most times we're lucky to even get past the line of bunkers.

Not a lot of communication coming out of the top brass, but they were apparently doing their jobs well.

One of its strenghts as well as its weakness is world wide servers, and most the time some people don't speak on mics or used them is because of the language barrier. I was on a squad of Japanese and they were communicating with each other and i was lost so I was just watching the map and following those fragos.
