The hammer type grenade is a sticky as well. The last is incendiary grenade, correct.

Does the Brute Grenade do anything special besides sticking? Seems redundant(sp?).

The Spike Grenade is believed to be the Covenant Loyalist counterpart to the Covenant Separatist Plasma Grenade, being mostly favoured by the Brutes. The Spike Grenade is most notable for its adhesive properties, similar to the Plasma Grenade, but with a different trajectory. This weapon uses its spikes to stick to the target, and once attached, it will detonate, turning the spikes into lethal projectiles. The Spike Grenade's initial explosion is the least powerful of all the grenades in Halo 3, although the explosion is not meant to be lethal. The explosion is meant to scatter the spikes at deadly velocity, impaling enemies within range, and wounding them enough for the user to finish them off.

The spike grenades explosion is totally random also. Sometimes you could be standing right next to it and get killed, and other times it will barely do any damage to you.

Passed the game last night on co-op Legendary.

Liked the game but didn't really like the characters so much. Especially the girl. Thought she was annoying and just not really likable as a character.

Also like they included a driving scene at the end of the game like Halo 1 and 3 but it was no where near as epic. I actually found it kind of dull, especially without any epic music and the much slower motion of waiting and opening doors.

Quick question.

I bought all the Halo 3 map packs and got ODST. I need to clear some HD space. Since all the map packs are in the ODST disc #2....can I delete the ones I downloaded onto the hard drive.

20GB hard drives are obsolete. MS needs to reduce the price of the 120GB HD's soon. It is criminal to pay $140 up for the 120 GB HD.

Yes you can delete your map packs from your hard drive cause you will always play with the mythic disc cause it has the last map pack. I couldn't agree more with the hard drive situation.

yeah I'm with you there. That alone would be enough for me to keep the ODST disc for a long time. Now I'm wondering if anybody will even be playing Firefight through the holidays.

Halo should never have stopped to the cheesy love story angle.

And don't even get me started on having the visor in the dark city parts and still not being able to see where you're going.

Overall it's still Halo, but I think it's the worst one I've ever played.

My only problem with the game was the stupid love story angle. Buck and Dare having a past was fine, but then to rekindle that in some weird one night was stupid in my opinion. Other than that I enjoyed the campaign, although gameplay wise the final fight was a little disappointing.

I think most of the faithful will be in this thread, now I'm not going to say I'll play it as much once the big fall games roll out, but I'm always down to get a group together and run a firefight game, just let me know.
