Was in the Resistance beta and it's a great game. It will be a great online shooter.
However, I'm much more interested in the Gears storyline than the one they present in Resistance.
Either way both will be great so man up heel and get both because either way, we know you are. :wink:Comment

Man, in the last few weeks I have purchased: MGS4, LBP, Motorstorm:PR, Resistance 1 for the PS3 and for the 360: Fallout 3, MotoGP08, COD4, NBA 2k09, NBA 09, PURE, Baja:EOC, Midnight Club:LA, R6:vegas 1 & 2, GRAW 1 & 2 and for the lonely Wii: Wii Fit (for the board [SW snowboarding] and the wife wanted it), SSX Blur and SMG.
Wheeew!
And pre-paid for R2, COD:WaW, GOW2, Mirrors Edge (VERY cool demo!), Shaun Whites Snowboarding (getting the Target exclusive), Tomb Raider:Underworld, NCAA Basketball and Banjo Kazooie.
I'll be gaming my butt off for...years? LOL! I also plan on getting a bunch of old games to fill out my permanent library. I have a nice paying job but occasionally do some freelance stuff and I just did one a few months ago that paid REEEEAL good so I decided to spend a lot of it on games (and the rest to my wife so she wouldn't get so mad LOL!)
Can't wait for the holidays! I'll be taking off 2 weeks at the end of December and you KNOW what i'll be doing

Resistance 2 beta was bada** i cant wait to pick up the game.. its the reason i held off on fallout for 1 more week.

yet it'll probably take like 10 hours to beat the campaign.
There's plenty of games that give you the option to play for countless hours getting certain achievements or 100%. You could spend hundreds of hours going for just the Seriously achievement in the first Gears of War.Comment

One thing about R2 that has put me off is the 10 hour campaign after Far Cry coming in with a 25 hour story. I was really expecting 15 to 20 hours as they didn't have to rush this one and they have all that storage capacity. But then the MP should give you countless hours of fun so I think we will be getting our money's worth.Comment
