I haven't played much of either offline campaign but have played a BUNCH of online with each game. Right now I'd give the easy edge to Res 2. The online competitive is really fun and I like the size of the battles a bit more. But what really seperates the two in my opinion is the online co-op. I love that you get to choose a class to play and have to actually play your class to suceed. Even though it's only 3 classes it's a ton of fun.

The enemy sound effects are excellent. When exploring an unknown area they really cause apprehension.
Game play A B+
Both are excellent games but GOW2 provided more variety of game play.
Visuals A A-
While both games are visually stunning I’ve broken it down into the categories below. I made the choices either/or rather than giving a grade.
