I loooove Saints Row, but they are GUILTY of this one, particularly in the car chases. Cars don't have a maximum speed when the CPU is driving them. They go as fast as they need to go to stay in the chase. Car chases in Saints Row aren't hard, so this doesn't make it challenging, it just neutralizes the WHOLE POINT of getting a nice fast car and pimping it out. Why customize your batmobile of they can catch up to you in a news van?
2k9 has some vicious AI catch up on All Star and up. Worse is when your AI teammates participate.
I'll add another two-- Lack of Interactivity
Several years ago, we were allowed to shoot out lights in Splinter Cell. A fully mature gaming generation later, good games are making impenetrable lights. Also--if you don't want me to be able to go into a door, just don't put one there. Unopenable doors is stupid, and ruins immersion
Lack of Reaction to Being Shot
Again, we are still catching up to an old game in this regard. In Golden Eye, if you shot someone in a body part, they reacted to it even if it was the killing blow. Now we have several "top tier" shooters where no bullets count except the last bullet. Until that last one drops them, it's like you're throwing grapes at your opponent.
