I am 55 percent through and so far I've played 7 hours and 43 minutes. that's a really good length. 14 hours total for the full game on hard is very good and not one moment has been boring. Great fun game....

I can't wait to play this game on Crushing level, will make you extra careful and methodical on gunfights and the game will shine even more IMO.

For those talking about finding treasures, I decided to watch a tutorial on how to find them and here's a tip to help find a bunch of them it appears. It's not a story spoiler but in case you want to find them completely on your own, I'll hide it.

I have not been following this thread, so I don't know if this has been discussed. Anyway, here's a big tip (no spoilers):

          BEWARE!

When you finish the game make sure you save it manually in a save slot. I did not and I started a new game just for grins. The autosave feature overwrote my saved finished game and now I cannot go back in and do the chapters individually. I have to replay the game again in order to be able to do that. I was able to enable one-shot kills and unlimited ammo via the bonus features, so going through it again will be easier, but I was bummed because I was going to go through each chapter and look for treasures. Now there is no way to see how many treasures I have found and how many I have left for each chapter.

Finished this tonight, took me 12 hours....

Awesome pacing and fun the entire way...couldn't stop playing once I had time I could dedicate (weeknights were tough). I'd put it down to get something to eat and an hour later I'd have to go back to it.

Wasn't a big fan of the multiplayer in the match I just played...nothing against the game, just not sure I really want to play this style in MP. I think I may check out the co-op stuff, that could be fun. I just know my aim's not stellar in this game, and where single player lets you deal with that and still do well, multiplayer is all about people who spend crazy time playing and have aiming perfect.

Quint, I finished the game on Normal with Auto Save on, and I have no problem with going back to any chapter I wish to on Normal. The key is to switch the chapter difficulty to the previous difficulty you finished the game on.

Hmm. I will check that out. Thanks for the tip. I'll report back what I find later.

Couldn't agree more, these guys to me are a bigger pain in the butt than those mini machine gun dudes. At least with the machine gun dudes there's usually a grenade launcher or RPG around to take them out. Those armored shot gun dudes pop up alot and your left going crazy on them till they go down. The only way to effectively kill them is to pop them in the head once and knock their helmet off and then go to town on headshots.

I just beat this great game & ended up finding 53/100 treasures on my own... Time to go back & get the rest.

I had good luck with my pistol (the 94 or whatever pistol I'd usually have)....seemed to pack more punch compared to the rifles, so a couple shots and the helmet comes off then one headshot to kill. Takes a while but you get used to it....still sucks when you don't see one and there's a guy right on you with the shotgun!

Agreed. The 94mm handgun is nearly my favorite gun (the Uzi isn't too far behind). I try to stay away from a shotty or pistole though because I can't trust myself with that low of ammo.

Automatics take way too long to take down a guy, even with head shots it seems.

I like the shotgun and pistole. They are great for fighting up close. As long as my other gun has lots of ammo I don't worry about it.

I like the shotgun in situations where I'm closer in (obviously)...didn't run with it consistently just because there were a lot of situations where range was nicer. I didn't really mess with the other pistols, I liked ones I had a lot of ammo in because I'd end up running out of main gun ammo enough where the few shots in my secondary would hurt me.
