Re: Uncharted 2 (PS3)
Finished it on hard a little earlier. Even though I thought the story faltered a tad toward the end, the whole experience was so much bigger, grander, and more satisfying than Uncharted 1. It was so hard to stop playing, because I was so engrossed in the story and characters that I wanted to see what was going to happen next. It felt like there were more options to get through combat scenarios than in the first game with stealth-kills being easier to pull off, enemies can lose sight of you, giving you the opportunity to flank or sneak behind them, and the much more effective/varied melee attacks. Amazing game. I will probably play through it at least two more times, because I enjoyed it so much.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Uncharted 2 (PS3)
I guess I'm in the minority guys because I have found this game to be a bit disappointing so far. I've only played for 4 hours (across 3 nights) and am just on chapter 6 with 25% done but it's not sucking me in like the first Uncharted did. I know they are similar and Uncharted 2 has the stealth moves which I like but I find myself liking this game and not loving it.
Both games were linear but I think UC 2 goes a bit too far with it. It's as though I can't go 5 minutes without a cutscene or animation pushing me along. It just feels a bit too scripted right now as though I'm driving a car and steering but have no control over the gas pedal.
It's still early and I know the first game started a bit slow but after having played 25% now I just don't have that awe factor like I did with the first one. I hope that changes as I get further in the game and I'm glad everyone else seems to be blown away by it. Maybe my expectations were too high. I don't know.Comment

It does get better after the jungle but I totally understand what you're saying.
I really like the game and thinks it's a must play/own but do not agree with some that think it's a GOTY candidate. One of the top games, absolutely. Best we'll play this year? Not IMO.Joshua:
