Honestly, I don't really see how a movie adaptation of this game would even be good. I like this game because it has a movie feel and appeal to it, but that's just because almost no game has that. That doesn't mean I like this movie itself and would like to see Mark Wahlberg climbing up vines and taking cover from baddies.

They should make a movie based on Blitz: The League.

I agree with that. Honestly this is probably one series I would definitely stay away from trying to make a movie of just because it already feels like one.

Haha well I would call it Blitz but the league would be constructed the same way. Basically there are rules like offsides and stuff obviously but tackles aren't really limited. So spiking people or ripping off their helmets isn't out of the question, and juicing is probably encouraged.

I would love for a Zac Snyder kind of directing job for it haha.

So I just started nplaying Uncharted Drakes Fortune last night as I borrowed it from someone (I know im late). So far i'm enjoying it and im on chapter 5 of 22. I've died about 500 times in the first 4 chapters thought most of them are from the wrong jumps and stuff. I'm not the best player around as ive just recently got into non sports game. But I've found the first few chapters very hard, though I read chapter 4 was one of the hardest on the game.

Even though I got frustrated bc it took about 45 minutes on the final part of chapter 4 I just couldnt put it down. I can't wait to play the 2nd one and then the 3rd.

I really liked the Mortal Kombat movie back in the day. I don't remember which one though, the first or second, because I really liked one and hated the other.

Just beat uncharted 1 last night and thought it lived up to the hype. I died a ton in the game, but thats bc im not that good of a player. The only thing i didnt really like was the puzzles. The ending was like a movie as I didn't know what to expect. Can't wait to finally play the 2nd one.

This weekend is a long weekend for many of us in the United States, as we celebrate the Federal Holiday that is known as Presidents Day on Monday, February 21. It’s also been about a month since our last Double or multiple Cash weekend and I’ve been hearing more than a few people ask when the next such weekend will happen. That weekend is now.

We’ll be running Triple (3x) Cash in ALL playlists from Friday, February 18, at 10:00 AM PST (what time is that in my city?) through Tuesday, February 22, at 10:00 AM PST (what time is that in my city?).

When we ran the last Triple Cash weekend in early January, a few people here and there were wondering why we chose to do 3x cash instead of the usual Double Cash. After running some mega cash multiplayer events in December, it felt to some of us that we set a little bit of a new expectation with multiple cash weekends and that it was a downer to take you all the way back down to “just” Double Cash. Feel free to let us know what you think in the comments below, we’re always interested in hearing what you think.

NOTE: There is NO episode of “The Lab” this weekend. Check the February schedule for the next “The Lab” weekend (next weekend) and details on the gametype variation.

Just beat the game a few hours ago. Took me 10 hours over about 2-3 days so the length was pretty good, but length wasn't really an issue with UC1 for me either.

Anyways, loved the game. Improved on the first in basically every way possible. The graphics are the best I've ever seen, easily. The gunplay feels so much better than the first and the same goes for the climbing. There's just a better sense of weight and realism to both of them. The stealth mechanic was a nice addition as well. Also, the opening level alone is possibly one of the best gaming moments I've played and there was still more after that (the train level later on isn't possibly one of the best gaming moments I've played, it is the best gaming moment I've played).

The story was great and improved on UC2 like pretty much everything else in the game. It felt similar to those really good movie sequels that just expand on everything the original did, but took it in a darker feel and tone. Drake just goes through so much abuse through the game and there was a couple times I actually thought to myself "How much more can this guy take?" even though I was just playing a game. Both the first game and this one do such a great job attaching you to the characters. For example:

I got pissed when it seemed like Elena died at the end.

I still did have some issues with the game, so not everything was perfect.

The fact that they rehashed the monster thing again, at basically the exact same point in the game as the first one did, was pretty annoying and some of the gunfights seemed to be really hard because there were just so many damn enemies attacking you and there was almost always 1 or more heavy-armed guy like the one with the shotgun who you have to shoot in the head twice to kill or a guy with a grenade launcher or GAU-18 (the huge machine gun). It doesn't help that when you're with a partner like Elena, Chloe or Sully that they hardly kill any enemies.

Also, the final boss fight was definitely improved from the first game, but it still wasn't that great. I just didn't like how you go through all these e-pic moments in the game, like being in a gunfight with a bunch of enemies as a building is collapsing, and then the final boss reverts to the old and tired gaming formula of doing some repetitive action over and over again until the guy dies.

For me it's a little strange when it comes to comparing UC1 and 2 and which one I thought was better because even though the second game improved on almost everything the first did, I'm not sure if I enjoyed it as much as I did the first game. I think that if I wasn't dying so much (according to the stats, I died/restarted a checkpoint 86 times) I would have confidently felt this game is better than the first and also one of the better games of all-time, but pretty much throughout the whole game there were times that I wouldn't exactly know where to climb or I would die multiple times before getting through a certain gunfight. At times it just felt like they were sending out too many enemies for you to handle, especially at points in the game where it didn't seem like there should be that difficult of fights. There were times I struggled in UC1 with a puzzle or a certain gunfight, but that wasn't really until later in the game. For what it's worth I played on Normal, which I beat UC1 on, but I don't think UC1 had that Very Easy difficulty, so it might have been that Normal on UC2 was harder than it was on the first game.

Aside from that stuff, this is still a top 5-10 game for me just like the first was. There were so many e-pic moments where I was saying "Holy ****" as it was happening and those are probably going to be moments I remember for a long time. It's not often a game does that. What's even better is that I just beat the game and there's still online multiplayer for me to experience.

So all in all the game was great and at times amazing. It wasn't a letdown or disappointment at all, but like I said I'm not sure I didn't enjoy UC1 more. Ditching the comparisons though and looking at the series as a whole, it really is one of the best gaming franchises ever IMO and I can't wait to play the third game.

Can someone give me tips on beating the last boss in this. Its driving me insane. This bull**** shoot the glowing rocks thing is annoying as hell and this guy has some monster long range double barrel that kills in one shot. Then when you get to, what I'm assuming is his last hoorah, he goes ape **** and shoots his double barrel 8 shots in a row as if it were a spaz shotgun. Im this close to smashing the disk and bathing in it's pieces.

Just keep running around and keep your distance from him. Any time he gets close to that blue stuff, shoot it.

It's a bit of a pain in the *** and might take a couple tries (and it's not that great of a final boss fight either) but it can be done.
