NBA Live 09 (just started playing it. I'm enjoying this game more than 2k9 which I did not expect)
    Not necessarily in this order.
NBA LIVE IS ACTUALLY ONE I WAS CONSIDERING, ANYMORE FEEDBACK.

Randomly? It's the most predictable "horror" game I've ever played (thus taking the horror out of it) so if it's random they didn't do a very good job.

I've played NBA 2K9 and I also have College Hoops 2K8, but haven't touched 2K8 in months.

i just don't really like the repetitiveness of most "new" games that have been coming out.

Fallout 3 looks really interesting though, I might have to get that

I was a big fan of 2k7 and 2k8. Both games really immersed me visually and gameplay wise. I don't think 2k9 has changed that much and this is not a bad thing. It appears to have the same gameplay but refined and the same visuals. The big change is in NBA Live 09. The visuals, especially the anatomy of the players, are done very well and I find the visuals to be more realistic. But most of all the gameplay in Live 09 just gives the vibe of real basketball. The interaction between players, the animations, foot planting, floor spacing all create a dynamic that just says this is basketball. The halfcourt game is excellent and the feeling that you really have control over the game is much more evident in Live 09 than 2k9 to me.

Of course it's early in my play time with both games so time will tell.
