About more than half way done with my renegade play through. Awesome stuff, some classic dialogue there.

Also with the renegade meter half way done, Shepherd's face is starting to look like a T1000. lol Great effect though. Looks awesome in dark shadows.

Has anybody beat the game on insanity yet? Also, is it best to do it as a new game plus or can it be beat just starting from scratch? Bout to start my second playthrough.

Insanity so far is pretty easy as a sentinel. started from Level 1. overload, Warp, throw, all useful for me. the machine pistol with some upgrades is pretty nice. but with Miranda with me and her overload/warp combined with mine, I rarely use my guns on normal guys anyway, just overload, warp, throw and they are usually dead. when I have jacob with me, I'll have him pull the enemies, then I'll throw them away, lol.

nice to see tech/biotic abilities useful on insanity unlike ME1(where it seemed only singularity was useful).

I may try it with my Infiltrator later...i'm on Veteran with my adept after playing on normal with my main Shepard.

Not sure I could deal with all the tough fights without having my sniper rifle. I enjoy the biotics, but deep down my stealth and gun is where it's at. May start at hardcore with the infiltrator, i dunno...insanity sounds like it may not be much fun.

Or they can buy it for the PC (cheaper too). And I agree, GAME of the YEAR. Next ME they should have a black voice actor as well for the male Shepard. My male (Samuel L Jackson) Shepard's voice is waaay off.

They should have had a deeper voice from the beginning...it's too late to change now though.

They should have had curt russel do it.

I have a feeling that they won't be changing the male shepard voice, same with Jennifer Hale for femShep (awesome voice, don't change her anyways!)

So I'm entering the final stages of the game, will probably beat it today.

Had to make some return trips to Illium to complete some side quests and I forgot how much that volus in the marketplace cracks me up.

Yeah, it would be cool if they add a deeper voice for those that may want one, but at this point I personally would have a hard time with a new one. THIS one (for me anyway) IS Sheppard now...played it too much for it to be otherwise.

I played male Shepard in ME1 and now am running a female Shepard in ME2 and to be honest... the voice acting of the Female is better than the male.

She just seems more natural.

I didn't mean change the voice. Just add a black voice actor for characters made with much darker skin.

make sure to boost Incinerate with your infiltrator. it works great on armor on insanity. I brought Mordin with me just because of that power alone on my last mission. finally died on my 4th recruitment mission(Krogan one). mainly because I would vault over the cover on accident. lol

me + Miranda + Mordin = good team for me. me and Miranda have overload to kill shields. I have Mordin with level 4 incinerate, Miranda and me both have Level 2 warp. armored enemies have no chance with that. throw works great once their shield/armor is down. I can take an enemy out of the fight with that power. usually I try to aim it so they fly out of the combat zone(instant death) or down a cliff/hole(instant death). makes for some hilarious moments.

I have tried tinkering and using other squad combos, but by far the most powerful one I've used is Mordin and Miranda.
