I think the thing I find most annoying in games is enemies that constantly approach where you're taking cover at. What are the repercussions for the CPU charing the defense? Another minion dead. What about the player? A game over and replay a segment.

Re: Mass Effect 2
I think the bigger problem is that everyone in the galaxy has infinte ammo and can fire their heavy weapons 2 times in a row except for Sheppard. It would be cool if you could use Throw or Shockwave to send rockets back but as is you have to sit there in cover for a long time.
My squadmates seem to have come down with a severe case of brain damage on disc 2 in my insanity playthrough.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Great. That's something to look forward to. I just started an insanity playthrough. So far it looks like it is going to be a real challenge. I thought it was tough in ME1 on insanity, depending on what class I was. I remember some intense battles inside pirate bases or whatever that really required me to figured out just how and the heck I was going to get past it, especially when my squadmates were dead.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Mass Effect 2
I ran out to Wal-Mart this weekend and picked up ME2 after beating the first game. ME1 was a great, but they stepped it up even more with the sequel. This is the best RPG that I've played. Bioware is amazing... and so is Miranda's outfit. My boy Shepard is gonna have to run through that.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Bioware really needs to hurry up with the DLC.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Insanity complete. That makes a total of 4 games I've beaten on the hardest difficulty this gen,not counting music games. (SF IV,Terminator Salvation and Hitman Bloodmoney being the others. Might be able to count Tekken 6 as well.)

Re: Mass Effect 2
One friend of mine always cranks the difficulty up to the highest setting from the very start. He just wants to totally defeat the game on one playthrough. I've tried to do the same because his philosophy makes sense, and is rather challenging, but I tend to play through games like ME1, ME2, etc., more than once. So, I don't always do that the first go-around.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: Mass Effect 2
The new vehicle and 5 new missions will be coming "late March" for free through the Cerberus Network. No sign of Kasumi though.
I wanted to see what Singularity did so I made an Adept. Then it was awesome, also the Shep I ended up making was also awesome and I wanted to play through again. Then I couldn't use my exisiting ME 1 import because I couldn't change her name or backround, only class and look. So now I have to back through ME 1. Someone just take this game away from me.
Infiltrator is still on hold until they release Kasumi.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Having never played the first game, I grabbed this off Steam the other day for some reason... anyway, I thought the first couple bits were a bit boring and didn't really enjoy the shooting robots gameplay.
Does it get a much different and should I keep playing to experience what most of you seem to be calling a classic?Comment
