I agree. If you expect people to shell out extra money for DLC then make it worth while. $5-10 for an extra 40-60 minutes of gameplay simply is not worth it.

I really liked the one person's idea above. Stop supporting ME 2 and go full steam on ME 3

Dragon Age: Awakening is a nice chunk of content though isn't it? Combined with Return to Ostagar(sp) that's gotta be good for a few hours. It's no Shivering Isles but it's definitely longer than 45 minutes.

Awakening is a $40 expansion pack. Its not DLC per se. You can digitally down load it, but you can also buy it at the store like I did. I got 30+ hours out of it.

I agree with everyone else, I would like to see Bioware take the Bethesda route and create DLC content that is 5 to 10 hours in length. Yes it would cost more, but I think people would be willing to pay for few solid extended missions, instead of being nickeled and dimed with all these little snippets of content.

don't remember how long it was, but I think Knights of the Nine was the longest DLC for Oblivion. but it has been a long time since I last play Oblivion.

also, can't forget the wonderful horse armor.

How long was Mehrune's Razor?

Knights of the Nine was the only one that I remember being of any substantial size. I downloaded the Vile Lair which just involved buying or finding more stuff for a lair. I'm under the impression that a lot of their DLC followed that method of lair add-on.

Probably. I had it downloaded because it was free but I had already traded in my copy of Oblivion. It didn't seem like much more than a dungeon run.

Pretty much my thoughts on it. It took me around 42 hours to finish ME 2. That comes to about a $1.40 an hour of play. So imo $5-$10 is a waste for a hour.

Just cracked this game open this weekend. Foolish move. Put in 20 hours and assembled all but one of my team and took care of the side missions for Jack, Miranda, Jacob and Samara. Probably going to handle the side missions for Grunt, Thane and Garrus tonight.

Why did I open this?

I'm on the iPhone at work during my break. There is a movie in the works being written by the guy who penned The Dark Knight And Spiderman I believe. This game can have so much potential but where to begin and what to tell. I need to read the books soon. Oh my goodness this movie better be worth it.

Do you guys thinkthat if handled nicely it could be of Star Wars potential? Maybe not that big but at least accepted pretty much by most who watch? The game is so great. I don't possibly know it they could pull it off but we shall see. How many movies to make to get the full effect of the story? I'm interested in seeing how this goes.......
