In Mass Effect 1? I guess the only way to do that would be to beat the game as a Sentinel or Engineer and then add that as your extra ability for a new character. It isn't one of the options for infiltrators. My infiltrator was my second character (after a vanguard) and i gave him warp (and instantly regretted it).

So I guess my last question for ME2 is, can you change how Shepard looks when you import your save? I thought they said many times that this was the case but one of the previews said it wasn't. I'm thinking they misheard.

I believe you need the achievement for the ability,it's not just finish the game.

They did say many times you can change your looks.

Does anyone know if anyone is doing a midnight release for this game? I have the LE reserved at Amazon with the shipping plan where it arrives release day but I might change if someone does midnight.

The Gamestop I reserved at said they might but nothing confirmed yet. I really hope so since I'm using a week of vacation when this comes out haha!

I believe you need the achievement for the ability,it's not just finish the game.

Do I have to create an engineer to do it or can I just do it with Hips(Tali)

So when I beat the game what save is used for the Mass Effect 2 save? Anyway I could move that save to an memory unit so I can start a different game with different decisions without worrying about saving over my first playthrough.

It uses whatever saves you beat the game on.

Im pretty sure you can't even save over the end of game saves.

I just dont want to continue my sheppard only to have the first playthrough lost.

Right, you want multiple saves to transfer to 2. I'm saying those end of game saves aren't at risk. The autosave is before/during the fight with Saren, the end of game save is after all of that. If you beat the game multiple times you can see each one when you try to start a new game. You can't load them or save over them.


After watching that On The Spot video I don't even want to touch ME1 again. Seeing Shepard run on the Normandy was a thing of beauty. The days of slow jogging everywhere are behind us.
