Re: Mass Effect 2
Again folks...
Spoiler
Have all ship upgrades.
Tali or Legion for the vent. (Need a tech specialist)
Mordin goes back with the team if you've completed his mission. ("Must hold the line? Perfer to get job done and go home!" PS3 users wouldn't get that ME 1 reference and leave him holding the line where he'd die.)
Jack or Samara/Morinith to do the bubble. NOT Miranda. The bubble person doesn't die,one of your squadmates will.
Miranda,Jacob or Garrus to lead the second team.
Grunt,Zaeed,Garrus to hold the line.
Miranda is almost impossible to get killed in the end. Suprised someone pulled it off.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
...damn I think I ruined my chance to get full loyalty from Jack.
SpoilerShe offered me the chance to...ahem...romp. I turned her down with the "I just want to talk" paragon type response. Then I helped her blow up the Cerberus lab and all. I tried to stop her from killing the other kid. Then let her do it when I coulda went Paragon. She and Miranda were having an argument and I took Miranda's side. Now the last time I went down to talk to her, she says "Don't bother me. Go talk to Miranda. On the battlefield, when the bullets are flying, I'm with you. But otherwise? I'm dead to you." or something like that. Don't think she'll give me a chance to clear the air.
Now I wonder if I should've A) Taken her up on that early offer and B) took her side against Miranda. I did save Miranda's sister, so I figure she should be forever indebted to me no matter what I do, but still...
Oh well. I was starting to like Jack...but now...if she winds up eating it when the ish hits the fan in the final missions like I believe it will...I don't think I'll miss her much.Comment

You have to be high enough paragon or renegade to settle the argument without losing loyalty from one of them.

Re: Mass Effect 2
SpoilerAlso, if he raises his Paragon/Renegade score up to around max I think he can regain Jack's loyalty. She is lost as a romance option though (sleeping with her earlier also cuts off the romance option).Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
The demo sold me on buying it too. And I don't normally buy non sports games because I hate games you beat once and you're pretty much only gonna play it again just to get it at a harder difficulty. But now...I gotta play it again, just because you can't experience it all the first time through.Comment

I never paid attention to the hyp because I dont own a 360 so it didnt matter anyways, but even after it was announced it was coming to the 3, I still didn't pay attention.
Then the hype caught up with me, I tried the demo and I am a disciple.
Oh and enjoy V!nComment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I just got a 360 at Christmas so I'm playing through the first ME right now. I had always planned on getting ME2 (and eventually 3) on the PS3, but since then I read that ME2 on the 360 will do things based on the decisions I made in the original. Is that true? Because of that is it worth getting ME2 on the 360 even though all the extra content and stuff is on the PS3 version?

PS3ers must be missing out on Conrad!
ME 2 on the 360 + DLing everything comes out to $54.
$20 for the game
$10 for Lair of the Shadow Broker (they really should start dropping DLC prices when the game does)
$7 for Kasumi
$7 for Overlord
$2 for extra outfits #1
$2 for extra outfits #2
$2 for extra weapons #1
$2 for extra weapons #2
$2 for extra weapons #3
You most certianly don't need the extra weapons or outfits either. Depending on your class and difficulty you might not even need guns period so you can save yourself the $10.
The best shotgun is free, the best SMG comes with Kasumi's DLC,best sniper is in the game, best AR is available in game, best pistol is in one of the extras but those are last resort at best.Comment
