I started ME2 this weekend after finishing ME1 with a Paragon/Infiltrator. I am loving sniping in this one. Holy crap that thing is a beast. I also like how hacking/decrypting are actually mini-games and not just simon says.

Yeah it's cool. Haven't touched ME2 in a while but I need to finish my insane playthrough at some point before ME3 comes out. I've been kind of itching to start playing again. Haven't gotten RDR out of my system just yet and have been playing that instead.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals

. Seriously, it was the only reason my second playthrough of both games was with a Soldier. I couldn't give it up.

Re: Mass Effect 2
When I got my first kill with the sniper rifle I chuckled like an excited little kid. I got the viper yesterday, but while I do like the rapid fire and more ammo, I love the power of the first rifle.
I'm really digging the side characters and how their stories actually intertwine with the mechanics of the game. Very nice touch. Jack reminds me of bald-headed Natalie Portman for some reason.
Also, I think I've spent just as much time playing with color combinations for my suit than anything else, haha.
What is the best DLC? I downloaded the "free" stuff that came with the game, but I know I want to do the Shadow Broker DLC since that is about Liara.Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 08-29-2011, 11:27 AM.

Re: Mass Effect 2
Shadow Broker is amazing, a definite buy. As for other DLC, Kasumi is great to have, and the one I'd recommend besides Shadow Broker. Unlike Zaeed, they made her comment on various happenings if you talk to her after recruitment. A decently fleshed out character. Overlord and Arrival are missions themselves, with Arrival setting the scene for ME3. Overlord is an interesting story, with lots of Firewalker thrown in. I bought them all
But if you don't want them all, Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival are necessary and must to get.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Yeah all of the DLC's are worth it. People complained about Arrival because it's more linear than the others but it leads directly into Mass Effect 3.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Yeah. I forget where I read it, think it was on Casey Hudson's twitter, but you can import a save after you've beaten the game(ME2) into ME3. I'd sometimes forget to finish certain side quests or buy things before getting locked down in the Citadel in ME 1.Comment

Sniping makes you feel like a freakin' one man army. I was finishing up The Rite and pretty much took down the boss krogan with one full clip. Love it.

The Shadow Broker DLC is probably my favorite mission of the game thus far. Plus, the stuff with Liara at the end was a nice touch.
