The only real complaint i had about ME2 was mostly centered around the weapons. Like introducing those cool down clips and having to run around finding them after every fight. As well as the lack of information on the different weapons. Obviously, you get an idea which weapons are upgrades over previous ones, but it would still be nice to have stats on them, like dmg, auto (y/n), range, etc. I did like that there was a limited selection because the amount of crappy weapons in the first was lame. The lack of upgrades to weapons in ME2 was also disappointing.

Yeah, the streamlined elements to the weapons and leveling up are the only things I did not like over the first game. The inventory system was better, but hopefully ME3 finds a good balance between the two games. I liked the full-on customization of the suits in ME2, but I also liked the different variations of armor in ME1.

        Re: Mass Effect 2

Just finished my 2nd play through as an Infiltrator.

Odd choice really because I played it as a Soldier. Rarely used Tactical Cloak and I stopped using the sniper rifles after awhile (around the time I bought a weapons pack off the marketplace and got the Mattock heavy rifle actually)

Going back to ME1 now and doing something I've put off for far too long - playing as a Female Shepard and going Renegade. I want to get as many choices covered for ME3 as I possibly can.

        Fun times.

Tactical Cloak and Sniping was pretty key to a lot of my battles. Seriously, that combo did some nasty damage on a lot of guys. It also saved my *** in a lot of situations.

The Overlord dlc Mission reminded me of System Shock Two, for some reason. The noise the AI made freaked me out the first time I heard it. Idk how the Shadow Broker DLC goes without a ME Romance with Liara,, but it made it more dramatic when I went through it. The game overall so far pretty awesome for the most part, although the fuel and resource searching aspect of the game is rather...annoying...

I don't know why I didn't use it more. Probably because it doesn't last long at lower levels. First time I used it at the start of the game at the Cerebus base, it lasted about 3 seconds. I kind of gave up on it then and instead used Geth Shield Boost which was a skill I got for completing Legion's loyalty mission in my first playthrough.

Why couldn't I stay at the Asari "club" in Shadow Broker ?

The big deal for the tactical cloak I think is that you get a damage boost when firing with it on, but that may not be till you max it out.

Lol, yeah I was playing with in ear headphones. I was like "wtf was that?", then noticed this green looking face on monitors and then thought, "oh boy here we go..."

I think you get a damage boost for the second level and then each one after that and then of course your specialization when you max it out.

Scared the hell outta me the first time I heard it. Then the elevator thing got me freaked too.

But it got sad once I played through a 2nd time and realized that noise was actually words.

Yeah, for the most part I've been moved by most of the missions, I gotta put the Shadow Broker DLC Mission as the best so far though, since I had a romance with Liara in ME. The only thing I don't like is the third squad member in "loyalty" missions usually has nothing to say, ever. I brought Garrus with me during the Shadow Broker mission and he said nothing special, I was kinda pissed.

I put about 5 hours into this yesterday and wow what a ride! This is my first time playing through a ME game and I can see why they are so highly rated. Already one of the best gaming experiences I've had i think and I'm only 10-12 hours in.

For most of the DLC add ons, squad members are mute. If they do talk, it's canned responses. I still like the little side mission on Illium, "Blue Rose of Illium". You can

I made that elevator jingle my ringtone. Granted in Overlord it's kind of a "Bioshock-like" rendition of it.

Managed to bang two hot alien chicks and Miranda in one play through. I'm a love machine .

Just did Arrival. That was fun. Sets the scene for Mass Effect 3 perfectly.

Now I need to go back to ME1 and continue with my female Shepard.
