Well, even if it's a DLC, most of the Loyalty missions are never a ABC Convo. Like Tali's loyalty mission is always an AB convo, the third squad member said almost nothing the whole time we on the migrant fleet. I know it's Tali's loyalty mission, but what's the point of having the third squad member if they only take part in the fights. In ME, it didn't matter who was with you they usually had something to say when it was needed. Maybe I'm just being to harsh on it... but it's just something I thought that was annoying.

      I know what you mean.

To be honest, I kind of feel that the loyalty missions should only have 2 people, Shepard and the person you're trying to get loyal.

Kasumi's mission is the perfect example of this. You're not doing the mission with Garrus or Jack tagging along (depending on who you've recruited and when you decide to get Kasumi).

It's odd actually because squad mates will say things in story missions and random assignments but not in loyalty missions.

I also thought it was weird your romance in the first game is like completely secret. I've already had convos with Tali and Miranda about being togather, I quickly got outta that save and loaded to a point where those convos didn't happen. I don't wanna be an a$$ and cheat on Liara, but I thought people would of been more aware of that relationship. I guess it was never public... It makes it hard to just wanna talk to a character with that hanging in the air, when it shouldn't be an option.

Joker knows. Or, at the very least, he figured out something was going on.

Not sure it 's really a spoiler at this point, but just in case (about romance options):

Kasumi says stuff about all of the romantic relationships depending on who you're with.

The ending was a nice wake-up call, the "why are collectors kidnapping colonists?" comes to light pretty quickly. I wish the boss was actually human sized, so you'd have like a cut scene of Shepard having a fist fight with it. Although most fist fights in this game look kinda weird. Either way, kinda a lackluster battle, but maybe I was expecting too much from a giant...

Just finished the Shadow Broker DLC on insanity last night. That whole thing may have been the toughest mission I've come across yet playing on this difficulty. One thing I was very happy to see afterwards...(hiding just in case someone hasn't played it yet)

I finally picked this game up today.

I was wary of the original $60 price tag, so $30 was a good price for me.. it's a lot of fun and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'm new to the ME franchise, because I've always bought my games for PS3.

Are they going to make ME3 for PS3 also ?

                            Yes.

There is DLC that kind of fills you in on ME1 and lets you make some of the big choices from that game to carry over into ME2.

Was I the only one that was disappointed with ME2 as a sequel?

I loved ME, and ME2 by no means a bad game, but I felt by taking a lot of the RPG elements out of the game (equipment and leveling to an extent) it drained the entertainment.

I realize it can fit into the story to remove that since ME1 is all about building Shepard up, but still.

As a sequel I feel like they took a lot of things out that didn't need to be removed but rather fixed. I still am on the fence about ME3, I probably will end up buying it to see how things close out, but still.

Not to mention I was irked by the whole two discs, when the game felt smaller than the original.

The mineral scanning needs to be refined or something too, made multiple playthroughs obnoxious.

But to not sound negative, the story is phenomenal and probably if not the best of this generation. Hopefully the RPG elements are pushed in and I won't have a problem buying it, but if it fades even farther from development I'll wait for a price cut or two. Shepard is strong, but I don't feel like he is built up enough that he can take on his enemies properly. (Just hiding the name at the risk of spoilers)

That's the biggest complaint I've seen most fans of the Mass Effect series have. For me the combat in ME was clunky, and almost seemed like an after thought(something like Pinnacle Station reinforces this). Once you picked up Spectre weapons and found the cool down mod, you could just hold down the trigger all day. I was happy to see the inventory system from the original game go.

Looking at a bunch of the E3 videos for ME3, and what devs like Casey Hudson have said, the RPG elements will be back, along with "crafting" for things like weapons. The one thing I did like was the focus on making unique "side missions" and N7 missions in ME2. You can only clear the same underground structure so many times before it starts to get tedious. Hopefully they'll find a good balance before some start calling it Gears of Mass Effect. Mass Effect 2 is one of the rare games I've played 2-3 times all the way through.

I tend to stock up on minerals in the first part of the game, so I don't have to mine at all later. That and using a new game + means you don't have to buy all the armor again, giving you more money for upgrades.
