I won Mass Effect 2 off Ebay today for $8.50 and $1.50 shipping. Think 10 bucks is good deal for it?

Nice. I remember I got it from Amazon in 2010 for $9.99 during one of their flash Christmas specials.

I really wasn't expecting much from it because I got bored with the first Mass Effect and never finished it. It turned out to be one of the best games that I ever played. Knowing that I bought it for so cheap just made it even more enjoyable.

When I traded it in to Gamestop I got $11 for it!

I have been playing the heck out of Mass Effect 1 so I can import a couple of characters into this so I have a broad range for ME3. So awesome.

So I am 20 hours in. Love the game big time. A question.

I am playing all the loyalty missions for my entire team. So If I do that as well as all (or most) of the side quests, the main story. How long will this game go. Also are there more potential team members than slots available?

I did all loyalty and alot of random side quests and I clocked in around 35 hours.

Well I wanted to play another go through of ME2 with my final Shepard, but I'm getting a "sign-in change has occurred error" as well as a "missing content" error all the damn time. Nothing has changed with my system, I have the same 360, same hard drive, same ISP, same modem, same router, same account...the only switch was I went to prepaid cards instead of an auto-renew via credit card.

Xbox Live has also been crawling and timing out for me as well. I go to the Marketplace, select Games, and it circles and then boots me out.

What the hell!?

I recruited "ArchAngel" last night. God I forgot how awesome this game felt. Or maybe its because I wasn't playing it on a proper setup. Whatever the case I suspect long play times this weekend. I also ran into a side quest that I didn't do the first time. I ordered a drink at the bar and apparently it was pretty strong. Good thing I'm a renegade and went back to "tip" the bartender, haha.

I am currently 31 hours in. I DL The Arrival last night as I want to play that when I finish the main campaign.

Flat out no doubt this is my favorite non-sports game ever. I can't believe how awesome and engaging the story, voice acting and visuals are. It is a trememdous game. I may have to buy a cheap XBOX 360 just so I can go back and play ME1. I am so looking forward to ME3.

I have done every side quest thus far and every loyalty quest. I am cuurently finishing all my "assignment quests" then back to the main quest. I should be done with the main story this weekend then on to The Arrvial.

So how was the DLC The Arrival without giving me any spoliers?

BTW I love Jack and The Female Thief (name escaping me) they are bad ***. Also love my Krogen ally. And the sniper from Arch Angel is a great chracter as well.

hell they are all good in their own way.

I just picked up the Justicar.....holy smokes she is wicked.

Arrival is great dlc that sets up Mass Effect 3 very nicely.

Well, I'm about finished setting up all my transfers for ME3:

- I've got 2 Renegades (one with my carry-over ME1 romance with Ashley and I can't remember the other romantic interest)

-I've got 3 Paragon setups (one with my carry-over ME1 romance with Ashley, one with Miranda, and one with the lovely Tali)

I only played through the full game twice (Paragon and Renegade)-just picked up later saves for choosing romance options.

I just have to play through the arrival DLC on a couple of them to tie those up.

I'm also going to run through ME1 and ME2 (no smaller sidequests and no transfer files to worry about-just a quick run-through) just to have things more fresh in my mind for ME3. I don't think I've ever replayed a series of games as much as the Mass Effect series. I think I have an unhealthy attachment to my Sheppard...lol. I can't wait to wear out ME3 in the same way!

About 20 hours into my paragon playthrough on PS3. I had previously beaten the game as both a paragon and renegade on the 360, but traded the 360 in a while ago. Thank goodness the PS3 had the digital comic so I could at least make some of the decisions from my ME1 game.

Oh, and sentinel is a blast. Heavy warp FTW.
