Re: Mass Effect 2
Unfreakingbelievable....
I just finished Mordin's loyalty quest, chose to stick around and not leave yet in the converations...
Well after looking around the room, getting some more stuff, it says "Press B to end the mission".
Guess what?
I press B....the mission doesn't end. I'm just running around, trapped in this room, unable to get out and end the mission.
So...FYI, if you play Mordin's loyalty quest, DON'T pick "leave later"...pick "leave now".
Otherwise...you'll be like me, trapped in limbo.
I also picked to stay but I left through the door instead of pressing B.Comment

Must have been a glitch/hiccup. I was literally running around in that room for a good 10 minutes, hitting B like a madman.AUBURN TIGERS

Re: Mass Effect 2
Quick question if someone could answer... possible MINOR spoiler...
I just finished the mission where I board the Collectors' ship and escaped. I was given an option to go find the IFF or continue to assemble my team. I chose to assemble my team because I don't have everyone just yet. My question is, how much more of the game is left at this point, in terms of missions? Am I near the end? If so it seems awfully short because I've done a lot of sidequests and take my time on missions. Just curious. Please do not post spoilers I'm just wondering about time frame.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I haven't done the IFF yet, but I'm personally going to go through all the loyalty missions and everything before doing that one...If I was actually a captain I'd want to have my team 100%, so that's my mindset right now...I'm sure there's a while left after that point, but you could skip a lot of the side/loyalty stuff if you want.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Spoileryou can do those missions after IFF, but there is an event that happens after the IFF that will trigger what you need to do for the end mission. it is best for last mission to have most of your crew already recruited and loyal before IFF. I don't want to get into too much detail and ruin it for you.
if you don't care to be spoiled read this spoiler, but it's very spoilerish to the main story.Spoilerlast chance, this is a spoiler. look at your own risk.Spoilerafter the IFF mission, an invisible "timer" starts. after a few missions(any mission, I don't think there is any "main" mission after IFF except the end) after IFF, your crew will be abducted by the collectors. this will open up the Omega 4 relay so you can now travel through it. it you do the Omega relay directly after your crew gets abducted, you will have a chance to save all of your crew. however, if you take your time and do other things, majority of them will die. by crew, I mean people like the doctor, Kelly(your assistant), etc. your party members will still be with you and their fate depends of your choices and their loyalty to you.

Re: Mass Effect 2
Hey, can you rechoose what you want your loyalty bonus to be? You can choose any one of your teamates special abilitys once you complete their mission right? Im stuck with Jacobs b/c I did his first...how can I switch!?Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I think you can just do the advanced training research again and you'll get to choose any of the abilities that are unlocked from your squadmates. it will replace the one you chose before though.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
SpoilerLike was stated, there is something of a timer after the IFF mission and you certainly want to enter the Omega 4 relay and do the last collector's mission as soon as possible after getting the IFF and also upgrading your ship (it will make a difference in how much of your crew survives)

Re: Mass Effect 2
SpoilerYou get ONE mission and only ONE mission before people start dying. Better make it Legion's loyalty mission if you want to be successful.
In regards to something entirely different and almost funny if someone actually has this happen...
SpoilerSheppard can die after the suicide mission when you continue to play afterwards. Remember what you've been told in game.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Has anyone purchased the death mask? It looks cool, but it doesn't seem worth it, at least now, I dont have too many credits.
