I can't wait for this game. It took me awhile to get into Mass Effect, but when I did, it became one of my favorite games and I played in nonstop.

Well timed exclusives can be just as good. These games won't appeal to everyone, so the people that want it will probably get it early on. I mean did anyone really care that Bioshock eventually got on the ps3 well after the 360 release? Bioshock 2 will also have a timed exclusivity.

"A fairly reliable source close to Electronic Arts tells us that the sequel (and subsequent iterations) will be available the PlayStation 3 as well as the Xbox 360 and PC. According to our source, EA decided to make the series multiplatform mostly due to the "the economic outlook".
Our source claims that because of the current state of the economy, Electronic Arts is looking to squeeze as much money from its portfolio of games as it possibly can. Obviously, making Mass Effect 2 and 3 multiplatform would increase their sales, as the game would be available to more people.
But what about the PS3 owners who missed the first game? Our source says it is "likely" EA will release a PlayStation 3 port of the original Mass Effect, debuting sometime in mid-2009.
The official announcement will "take place at GDC" (which starts March 23), according to our source."

I thought it was only me with those lazy skins. Man, that was the biggest ruin for me to get back into that game. I think I'll give it another try. I wish they at least had mroe downloadable content that expanded the universe a bit. I still need to get that first one they had but I'm still stuck on trying to finish up a few others. It's great to be a gamer.......Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I just finished up the second Mass Effect book, really want this game to come out. Unfortunately, my console is red-ringed, so I can't even play the first one right now?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

I loved it too.
As far as improvements for #2 I'd like more crap in the gameworld too, and in city-type areas, make the interactive spots more condensed, and more of it.
I'd like a better inventory system and a better economy. If were going to be in the mako again, make upgrades something you can purchase. Make buying stuff mean more, maybe giving clothes and weapons more creative 'perks'. Borrow from fallout a bit and have some colonies 'lawless'
Some of it did seem to take a little from total recall, but they could 'borrow' even more, like venus-ville (chick w/ the 3 cans lol) and there were things that you should have been able to use but couldn't (like computers)
put in a better melee attack like a good, solid, punch to the face. a la RE5.
The game was flat out awesome though and had the most creative characters i've ever seen (the gorilla/elephant hybrid that declares its intonation before it speeks!)Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Isn't there supposed to be additional DLC for the first game? I've gone through it twice, good and evil, and have the "Bring Down the Sky" pack and was planning on going through it a third time to set up my character for ME2.

EA: No concrete information on Mass Effect 2 at GDC09
EA has told videogaming247 that “there won’t be any concrete information provided on the Mass Effect franchise” at this year’s GDC09.
The company was referring to the CMPEvents listing that revealed two of BioWare’s developers are holding an hour-long seminar entitled, ‘The Iterative Level Design Process of Bioware’s Mass Effect 2′ at the conference this year.
“Bioware has always stated that Mass Effect would be a trilogy,” a senior company representative told us today. “This GDC event is an academic panel, but there won’t be any concrete information provided on the Mass Effect franchise other than what has been outlined on the GDC website.”

Coming next year
BioWare's Mass Effect 2 and a sequel to DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company will arrive in the first three months of 2010, Electronic Arts CEO John Rictiello has revealed.
Ricitiello appeared to confirm a multi-platform release for Mass Effect 2 in today's conference call, suggesting that it will hit both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at launch.
The first Mass Effect was a console exclusive for Xbox 360, trailed by a PC release a few months later. BioWare has suggested the sequel may follow that model.
The Battlefield: Bad Company sequel will presumably follow in the footsteps of the console-only original, which hit PS3 and Xbox 360 in the summer of 2008.
Both games will be released during the fourth quarter of the publisher's 2010 fiscal year, which runs from January 1 to March 31.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
