I've decided that the extra stuff isn't worth supporting GS so I ordered it from Newegg with free shipping.

I wouldn't have, but I had someone else sell a game back for me a few months ago. The salesman sold them the Edge or whatever it was, after asking me on the phone if I wanted, some how there was a communication problem. So I have to get my $15 back for Edge. I sold 4 games back and got an extra 40% almost $100, they'll sell them for $200.

I hope that they keep some stuff like this. ME is like Blade-runner mixed with Total Recall for me. It really is it's own thing though.

edit: it's got a real terminator 1 feel as well.

All the music I've heard is more cinematic and theatrical. Sadly, I haven't heard much of any 70's and 80's synth like the first Mass Effect score.

I didn't like the first Mass Effect soundtrack all that much, the new one is much better.

Yea...same here. I don't want what feels like a sketchy "futuristic" music...I want to have an "epic" feel.

I feel like you got both in ME1. It also fits the art direction and original inspiration as well. Whatever, in the end the game looks drop dead gorgeous and looks to play insanely well too. The sad part will be after 3 comes out and it's all over.

I didn't like the first Mass Effect soundtrack all that much, the new one is much better.

Haven't listened to the 2nd one as I'll save it for when I get the game but I loved the 1st one.

It was mentioned the ME universe would continue after the 3rd... just not with Shepherd.

Haven't listened to the 2nd one as I'll save it for when I get the game but I loved the 1st one.

I mean, it sounded fine while playing but I got the standalone soundtrack and I couldn't listen to any of the songs. With the second one I can listen to the songs without playing the game and still love them.

Yeah, I agree. Stand alone is rough. I think I only listen to 3-4 songs.

I heard that the ending will go a based on certain decisions and how well equiped you are for the final missions will reflect on who survives and who falls.

Has anyone read Mass Effect: Ascension? I read the prequel to the first game (Revelations) and thought it was a great set-up for the series. I didn't know another book by the same author was written. It takes place two months after the ending of Mass Effect (the game).

I would strongly recommend reading them. I just found out today that the second book was written. I'm going to read that before playing ME2.
