If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Some real gems in the dialogue......especially this gem when talking to Garrus later in the game:

Play through 2 is starting to call me.
What is everyone's funniest moment.
SpoilerMine is sending that volus high on red dust in to deal with the Eclipse leader in Samara's mission. I had Jack with me and she tried to start a wager on how long he'd last.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I knocked it out in 28 hours with all loyalty quests finished, most upgrades except for two prototypes, 1 shotgun, 1 sniper rifle, and 2 biotic upgrades finished. I obviously missed finding a bunch of random planets and sometimes I forgot to talk to people on the ship though I usually made sure I went and got their conversations.
BTW, Grunt is hilarious to talk to.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
About 27 hours, and that's having done all the quests aside from 3 small side quests.
The endings are different based on character selection on the last level. Example:
Spoilerwhen you first choose your team on the last level (collector base) I chose jack and the Krogan. Jack died before I got the part where they found the crew in the cacoons.....killed by the bug swarm. I chose Zaeed to lead the team during the 2nd part and he was killed. And at the very end my team was the Krogan and the other Cerberus guy (who had the side mission about his dad) and we all survived the mission.
However, I accidentally deleted my auto save after the game ended on the "import ME2 character" screen when I was about to start another playthrough. So I had to play most of the Collector level again from my manual save. I chose the same team to start as the first time only this time Jack didn't die. I chose Zaeed to lead again on the 2nd part and he still died. But for the last part I chose the Korgan and Miranda for my team. At the end when you're confronting the Illusive Man about blwoiung the station there is a completely different dialogue exchange because Miranda was there. And at the end she ended up dying and didn't survive the mission. So it came down to one different personnel choice, but two different outcomes as far as who died and who didn't.....along with different Illusive Man dialogue. Just awesome effort by Bioware to make further playthroughs worthwhile.Comment

This game is so awesome, lucky for me I have a pc and ps3. I can't believe you actually sent the high little fat guy into the fight, instead, I simply pushed him over and he fell asleep.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
This game is ridiculously good, when I took my break I realized that the start was probably in my top 5 video game moments...looking up at the planet with the debris. And they are right about the characters, it seems like you either get to like them, or hate them, more than just feeling a liking towards them, or neutral...and it's not so straight forward, sometimes you are unsure which is the paragon, neutral, renegade comments...and I love the reload system...keeps me from spamming etc. and it is a lot harder, I died within my first real encounter :P. I like being a vanguard a lot.
Well instead of making another post, now I am at the Citadel...and WOW..what a difference...feels a lot more city like...LOVE the difference..and I had the interview...and I was actually laughing when she got destroyed by Sheppard, I like every character so much more in this game this time around, they all seem so much more unique.Last edited by AnArtofWar; 01-30-2010, 12:59 AM.Comment

I gave Jacobs command of the fire squad and had Legion going to do the hacking. Second split I put Garrus in charge, took Jack and Grunt again, and had Thane escort everyone back. Last split I took Jack and Miranda with me. I had nobody die and got the achievement for it though I thought Miranda was going to slide off the platform to her death after killing theSpoilerhuman reaverComment

I just can't imagine a play-style that would finish so soon. It's like I 'd have to plan out what I'm going to do before turning the console on and literally not waste a single moment.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
