If you run out of fuel, you use the emergency supply to go back to base automatically.

Wow, when did we learn about manually flying the Normandy...and when do we fly it? I hope I don't have to fly it getting to different systems and such..maybe just planet to planet and on a planet...otherwise..bleh.

EDIT: I mean I hope the gas only is in effect when flying planet to planet on the planet if we can fly around the planet..

Interview,here's the DLC comments.

Q: Do you plan on doing a more aggressive DLC deployment compared to the first game?

CH: Now, we did do twice as many downloads for Mass Effect than we did for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (laughs). We had the one station you could download, and that's when we were still learning about what we could do with downloadable content. Obviously, with the first [Mass Effect] we had a few things that we needed to improve on. One of them, really the main reason we couldn't do as much DLC as we wanted to, was that the game itself was not built in such a way that it could be extended. We didn't have the time to fit in extensions to everything. We could really only do one kind of expansion, which was a big, complete mission. We couldn't do things that you'd get, like new armor you could carry back or a lot of the systems weren't extendable. Now we can do that with Mass Effect 2, so now we can do the whole range from micro-downloads for armor all the way to a retail-size pack.

Q: Are you going to offer both of those styles of downloads?

CH: Yeah, we intend to do the whole spectrum of small to large.

I am sort of confused about transfered characters into ME2...do we get a total reroll? Or do we just get to change classes? I want to be a vanguard now...I was a soldier in ME, and I loved it..love supporting my biotic squad from close range taking the agro in order to let them put them in stasis, sabotage them etc. But when there are too many of them, this would be great ...

I feel like such a noob when it comes to this game with at least info for it

You get a chance to switch your class in ME2, even if you continue from ME1 Shepard. You get bonuses from your ME1 character to your ME2 char based on achievements and what not. Key moments from ME1 are also recorded to your ME2 char based off what you did in ME1.

Knew about the second part...but it's good for the first part of confirmation...too bad though really. I guess I could still change to a vanguard, except I would of maybe changed a few stats..but I haven't even finished my run through all the way anyways.

Can change your look too. You don't actually keep your level,you'll be back at level 1 bonuses pending of course.
