Re: The Beatles: Rock Band
Some reactions:
-"Boys"? That's probably one of my least favorite songs from the early Beatles era. Kinda upset that made the final game and "Please Please Me" and "Love Me Do" didn't. Oh, well, nothing a little DLC can't fix.
-Some really unexpected surprises..."If I Needed Someone", "Dear Prudence", "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and "I Me Mine". Awesome. Although I don't think I'm ready to be playing the same riff over and over for five minutes in "I Want You", regardless of if it's hypnotic as hell.
Since DLC is coming out for each album, I'm not too worried about songs that didn't make the final cut, but those that did are good enough for me at the moment (with the exception of "Boys" of course). Can't wait to pick it up!Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

Re: The Beatles: Rock Band
I was hoping for more stuff from Revolver as it is my favorite album of all time, but it's pretty safe to say that that one will be available as DLC at some point.
Any guesses as to what the secret song is going to be? I would assume it is a big one since they are keeping it such a secret. Anybody care to hazard a guess?Comment

Re: The Beatles: Rock Band
Hell yeah to I've got a feeling! Up there as their most bad *** song. I really would prefer if One After 909 also made it in with regard to Let It Be.
Here it is-

Songs that I could do without, at least initially: Boys, I Wanna Be Your Man, Good Morning Good Morning, Dig A Pony
Great surprises: I'm Looking Through You, If I Needed Someone, And Your Bird Can Sing, Getting Better, Hey BulldogLast edited by Quint75; 08-17-2009, 04:17 PM.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

Yeah, I was super-stoked to see I've Got A Feeling included. Great video - McCartney just kicks the crap out of that song, doesn't he?

Agreed 100 percent on Boys and I Wanna Be Your Man! Why not replace them with something like Please Please Me and Anna. I do like the guitar on GMGM and Dig a Pony however. I remember reading an interview way back from the creators of GH that if they could everr do a Beatles one, they would have alot of obscure songs like Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for Me and my Monkey. I would have loved that song on there. IMO as a huge beatles fans, I would have wished for a few more obscure songs (speaking of the white album, what about Yer Blues)Comment

Re: The Beatles: Rock Band
Man, Dear Prudence just owns that trailer, but I can't wait for them all. It is hard to think that there are people in this world that *gasp* hate the Beatles. We have a word for those types of people where I come from, but it would violate the TOS if I posted said word! :wink:Comment

Re: The Beatles: Rock Band
That DLS seems awful pricey to me, especially considering that many of the songs will be coming with the game itself, 5 from Abbey Road for example. I am still all in, but this may turn off casual players. I think $10 and album would have been a lot more fair, but how is this compared to other RB album downloads?NCAA: Michigan Wolverines
