My game must be glitched right now. i rode a stage coach from Mexico to Armadillo for $0, then to Thieves Landing from Armadillo for $0 and then from Thieves Landing back to Armadillo for$0. I'm happy though, I did just spend all my money.

Not a glitch. at one point upon completing challenges/ missions, stage coaches will become free. I remember a subtitle pop up stating that at one point

The thing I love most about this game, and has me close to praising it as one of my favorite games of all time, is that everytime I turn on the game...I see something new, something different. I felt like after a few days with GTAIV, nothing surprised me, nothing felt different - everything felt much more canned and scripted.

And yet, here I turn on Red Dead Dedemption and go to retry a mission I had failed last night...and I'm riding along my horse with two guys towards another town, and what do I see? Three men riding around hunting Buffalo. They start shooting at a heard and one of the Buffalos goes psycho and runs from the group...all the way around us...and then sprints at what looks like 100MPH and ram into the first hunter, killing his horse and throwing the guy a good ten feet away.

I agree. Start a mission at sundown, work through the mission at NIGHT, with rain, and you end with the sun coming up... 100% unplanned but many situations in this game sets this game up for events I have no words for. You just look up, shake your head, and tell yourself "wow". It's a feeling few games will give you when all those variables are set up just perfectly

The mission in mexico where you have to sneak up to guards by the train.. I started that with rain coming down and thunder going off.. Simply one of the best moments EVER

With animals, the options are endless.
-I tried to lure a pack of bears into manzana post to attack people
-I tried to lure elk/bears onto the train tracks in that area.
-I had one battle with a bear where two guys on horse back were just riding along decided to stop and help shoot it for me. I guess they saw my struggles

Was anyone else really let down once the story was over? I mean the main character dies out of nowhere. Then mysteriously your in the future with his son.
With no explanation for any of the time in between. Plus cars don't show up, which I was kinda hoping they would in Blackwater. I mean you see a car on the side of the road with a tire missing. Then 5 years later Jack goes to Blackwater and the same car is still sitting there. For such a good game, I just can't believe they leave you hanging like that.

same here. I just cant get into it.
I wish i could, because eeryone on here seems to think its an amazing game.

Controls feels alot more smoother than GTA 4 to me.

PS3, so probably a YLOD. I should probably get a slim anyways, so I'm not all that mad.

This game let's you transfer your saves via USB as well, so you should be good.

Weapons are attached to challenges I believe. I'm not sure but I think i received a new weapon without buying by lassoing a guy who had it?

When do I get deadeye 3? 2 is near useless,maybe even worse than useless with all the ammo it wastes and I guess I can't switch back to 1.

I'm terrible at horseshoes. I just can't get it down. One throw I throw it 2 feet, the next throw I get it semi-close but have no idea why there is such a difference in throws.

This game has been great so far...just a few things that I wish were different...

At times there are no animals to be found- then there are 10 wolves and 5 snakes etc.

The sell system is terrible, I had 19 feathers and that was bad enough....can't imagine how it'll get.

But since I keep bashing it- one cool thing I saw in nature was that before another wolf attacked me, it killed a snake, and proceeded to attack me

And a question...for now I don't have the money to get an expensive horse, so...this is when you are lassoing horses...

Is the horse that Bonnie lets you keep faster than any that you can find in the wild? If not, which types are faster?

I hate gatling gun missions. The damn thing doesn't seem to hit people enough even when I have the targeting reticule right on them.

This treasure hunting this is impossible. I thought a map would show me the area, but instead it's just a map of a tree and some rocks; like I'm supposed to run around the massive land and find them by eye... I tried going to hangman's rock because of the noose on the map, and while that tree and rock looked similar, I couldn't find any rocks around the area that looked like where the treasure was.

Its a chance thing after the 1st one really. I just came across the 4th or 5th one because I was picking up some prickly pears and noticed the landmark on the map

-And I just came across the next one because I chose to ride through the cutscene discussion in Mexico. Really, its just luck

What level do you have to be? I've only played it once but, I didn't like it to much as of right now. I hate that damn donkey and do you always start out with sucky weapons?
