The only hit detection issues I have seen are longer range. I really dont think my issue is "hit detection" as much as i think aiming is kind of messed up. Its like you have to use kentucky windage or something cause aiming using the reticules doesnt really work.

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
Finally was able to play. The lag didn't seem bad, but I did notice that things from a distance were real choppy. Makes it tough to snipe from a distance as well as use anti-aircraft guns. I also noticed the background get messed up a few times while flying a plane (sky would turn from blue to a choppy grey).
It's a fun game, probably worth the $15 when they fix the servers. I still prefer Bad Company to this but it's a nice stopgap till Bad Company 2 roles around.Comment

Pretty good so far, Just a couple nit picks:
A Spawn Protect would go along way, even if it was for 3 seconds. Nothing quite as fustrating as getting killed right after you spawn.
All the weapons seem to be underpowered, direct shots with a tank should not only kill a person, it should blast them across the map.
Airplanes are a little tough but I suppose thats good so everyone doesnt hop in them.
The Rock Paper Scissor formula does need to be tweeked though, Tanks should have a upper hand on infantry but they do not...
overall though its pretty fun, cant beat the priceMy dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
My one main gripe would be that a lot of the bigger weapons don't have a splash effect. If you shoot the tank at someone and it just misses them, it doesn't seem to do any damage. Same goes for bombs and to an extent grenades. If you're within range of a blast, it should do some damage to you.Comment

For $15 you can't go wrong. I have Bad Company so I am not having any issues with the accuracy of the guns.Comment

That is a good question. In BC you can, but so far I don't see that you can. Of course I only played the game for about 30 minutes so I may be wrong.Comment

I was finally able to get in some matches today. Played a few rounds with Phobia from OS. As far as the PS3 version goes, how is the lag?? For me, the lag has not been much of a problem thus far on the 360 side. If the PS3 has any kind of crippling lag issues, I'll save my money.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

I already have it for the 360 but I may end up getting the PS3 version as well. Play on whatever system has a good group of OS guys assembled at the given moment
