I'm really starting to find my groove with the rifle. I couldn't hit a damn thing when I first got the game, but crouching and taking my time when aiming has helped me out a lot. I still can't snipe worth a damn though. I don't even bother with the Scout class.

I'm getting good in planes, flew around almost a whole match last night, finally got shot down, but parachutted out first. Got a few kills with the plane, and kept dropping bombs.
I have only 3 achievements left, the best party on all 3 maps (which I have no clue how I haven't done, looking at the trophy thing, I've done that 9 times so far LOL) I need to play 30 games, which I also don't know how I don't have, and obviously 100 games.Comment

I'm gonna out myself as someone who hasn't done the tutorial (but I should soon!). With the scout, how do you use the demolitions? With the other two, I just swap to my alternate weapon, but it seems that scout just has the pistol and sniper rifle...I know I must be missing something obvious...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
L bumper gets your detonator pump out. L trigger throws up to 3 of them (short range)...from there you can switch to guns and shoot, or you can keep it on the detonator - R trigger detonates...it's cool because what i do is set 3 down near a flag where many people plow a tank in and I make it go boom usually get at least one kill and for sure destroy the vehicle.
I still need to learn how to use the anti-infantry rocket thing that the riflemen get...I end up firing it at the enemy, they don't die, and I get killed.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

I was the same way with BF1942 back in the day...but it gets better....Just a fun game that I can't sell back so I can play it when I'm in the mood...Last edited by mgoblue; 07-13-2009, 06:42 PM.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
my issue is I am also bad at shooting. seems like people take me down in 1 to 2 shots yet I unload clips at people and then they turn around and shoot me dead. Its frustrating.Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
I also think it takes too many bullets with the rifle and machine guns to put a guy down. I unload a rain of bullets into a guy and he just turns and kills me. Also their isn't enough splash damage for tanks and grenades as I have seen multiple times guys walk away untouched. As for the aiming I find it not very smooth compared to other shooters as I barely touch the stick and it flys by the guy I am trying to shoot. I love the game but their are things that need to be tweaked to balance things out a bit more."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

I don't have any problems getting kills.

360 owners should get Coral Sea by tonight. PS3 is going to be awhile. The race to 43 million kills started last Friday for both, and it's not even close.

360 - 38,414,016
PS3 - 20,384,870Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
Played the demo and had a lot of fun with it. Before buying the game though a friend mentioned Battlefield 2 with expansions for the PC was selling for about 25 bucks from the EA store. So now i have to decide whether i want to play this on a console or try my hand at the BF2 version which seems to still be going strong 4 years after release.
My only concern with 1943 is the quick death that the majority of FPS's have on the 360. Usually after a couple of months the community has moved on and save for a handful of games (COD4, Halo) its near impossible to find someone to play that not-so-shiny game.Comment
