Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
Something I never thought about but the sound and real time destruction really compliment each other. Things can get pretty intense with all that noise and pieces of debris flying all over the place. Very well done.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Yeah, I mentioned the sound earlier during the PS3 beta. I think it's the benchmark in shooters. If you got a good set of headphones or a surround sound system, you will be blown away.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

On the 360, as far as the sound goes, one highlight for me is the surrounding gunfire. The other was when the helicopter flew over my head. They also do a great job of making things sound far off. I'm not sure how to explain that, but even when you are deployed from above, you just have this "approaching" feel. Very nicely done.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Try getting into a firefight that leads into a building. The sound in this game is a thing of beauty. Makes me feel as if I'm really in a war.On the 360, as far as the sound goes, one highlight for me is the surrounding gunfire. The other was when the helicopter flew over my head. Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
finally was able to connect to many games in a row and wow.... improved in every conceivable way from BC1... I absolutely love this game already
it feels like a real battle, enough space between kills to not feel like MW2 -kill, kill die, respawn, rinse repeat (or die, die die, kill
) - yet enough action to not be idle or bored.... improved accuracy and less bullets to kill, better graphics, more effects and particles, unreal sound, squad oand kit options and leveling upgrades.... wow wow wow,.... if they actually support this with new map packs (unlike BC1) this will be my online shooter for a year or two

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
indeed ... from the IGN preview
It looks impressive, but it sounds even better; Bad Company's greatest asset was its sound design, utilising DICE's pioneering HDR Audio technology to create gunfights that were told with unprecedented fidelity. The science behind it is simple, the results absolutely spectacular – and it's naturally been bolstered for Bad Company 2, the game boasting a soundscape that's beyond compare.Comment

The sound in this game are second to none when it comes to shooters. The surround is just incredible and when you see walls being destoyed around you by oncoming tanks, and helicopters flying over you, that holy **** moment occurs. This feels like a real ground war...
Its easier to win on the defend side of gameplay. I have yet to win being on the assault side. The matches are long lol I hope another mode opens up in the demo the longer you play.Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
Well,after playing a few matches,I'm not that impressed....and I absolutely loved BF:BC.
The overall feel to the game reminds me of the COD series, and imo, that's what separated the 2 games, and why I enjoyed the first BF.
I couldn't believe the amount of snipers, and the camping. When are people going to realize that the BF series is more about your score, and not your k/d ratio?
If you took the maps from COD,and put them in this game, you'd be hard pressed to tell any MAJOR differences, except for the destruction, put that in COD,and you have damn near identical games.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment
