Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
I'm a litttle more cautious for this one. BF1 looked great too before I actually got to play it for myself.
Some things I'll be looking for:
#1 infantry draw distance aka sniper views - last game had terrible fog effect and bad draw-distance considering the maps involved.
#2 Gun/shooting feel. It never felt that tight to me as well as movement. I'll be looking for them to have really fine tuned and tightened things up quite a lot. **add to this better hit detection and better damage system (took to many to kill)
#3 visual cue's / improved effects that give you information. I found it hard to tell where you were being shot from many times in the original as well as other small things that would help the gamer play the game.
#4 Vehicle movement/control/...I thought for some if not most vehicles they felt awkward.
#5 Squad communication/cohesive experience. It was just an odd setup I'm hoping for more options in multiplayer about communication and game types from the outset.
#6 more customization concerning load-outs etc.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

sounds good man! I guess the demo coming soon might be able to pull me in if they improved the game that much.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

IMHO, the beta was better than the retail version of MW2. Only thing that missing were more modes and maps. So I'm definitely looking forward to the retail come release day.XBL: DTX3

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
Is the demo/ beta for the 360 open or is it closed to people who pre-ordered the game? Even though I pre-ordered it, a few friends haven't so just wondering if this could be answered?Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
And to co-sign w/DTX3, I played the beta and never touched MW2 and loved it, I was hurt when I signed in and it said the beta was over. Even though it was one map and one mode, I still loved the feel. It had a MW2 variety of guns/attachments, without the outrageousness of some of the perks (Commando comes to mind...).Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
This kind of crap is so lame. It's a good thing I'm not all that excited for Squad Rush.
Battlefield Bad Company Squad Rush Gamemode Details
How To Access "Squad Rush" at Launch
North America: All customers that pre-order from GameStop (local retail store or website) on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will have an Exclusive Access* for 30 days to play the "Squad Rush" gamemode and any friends they bring with them. This means you can always play with your friends if you have the Exclusive Access* never forcing you to split from them, plus those that have this Exclusive Access* are a bit more popular... even if only for 30 days. ;-) *This game mode would be automatically unlocked for everyone after 30 days.
Rest of The World: No Exclusive Access, as this mode would be unlocked day 1 at no extra cost and you can also invite any of your American buddies to play as well.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
WTF??? That is some bull ****. Is this what pre-ordering has become? If you don't pre-order you can't play game modes? Hopefully that mode is unlocked later on just through progression.Comment

Gamestop and this pre order crap is getting out of hand. They have there little monkeys at the store sooo trained to push pre orders on you its insane. I almost punched the dude last time after he tried for like the 5th time to get me to pre order something.
I was like " STFU and give me the game I'm not pre ordering anything from you asshats!"
His eyes got all wide and he turned white.GT: Event Horizon 0Comment
