After one day, I'm so impressed with everything multiplayer offers. Just a fun, fun shooter. Personally, I suck with free aim, and need the assist. Just can't get the aiming down quick enough in 3rd person. I think I'm like 5 kills and 48 deaths in free aim, while I'm 95 kills and 102 deaths in assist. LOL Call me weak, whatever, it's more fun for me to have the assist on . Don't even get me started on the Crew battle we had last night where I was a bullet sponge for the team LMAO.

The maps are awesome, large, very well laid out. Other shooters could learn a few things here.

Questions... The Gamestop perks? What are they, where are they? Pills online, is it just when you're "killed" you have a chance for revenge? You can't actually use them otherwise right? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything with the online play.

Our Crew is rocking! 73rd now in the world. 7 wins and 10 losses in Crew battles.

I have a question on the crews thing folks: I am constantly traveling abroad so the time difference to play with you guys is an issue.

If I join the OS Crew do we have to all be online at the same time or can I represent (read: embarrass) you guys all by myself?

Is a Crew only applicable to Gang Wars? Can I play Gang Wars without being in a crew?

Also to join a crew, I need to join the Rockstar Social Network thing right? And then post my PSN here? Thanks y'all!

Good games earlier, I am actually pretty good. Lol. Last game that Colonel Trauma and I played I went 35-22 or something...lol.

I've been rocking so far on the PS3 side with a couple 40-10 or 27-9 games and the odd 12-2 game. Of corse, it always balances out with a couple crappy games, but I hover around 2 kills per death every game. I mostly play Gang Wars, Team Deathmatch, or Large Team Deathmatch, and their all pretty fun. You can also check stats inside the crew page in-game or on the Social Club Max Payne page. As an example, here are some of my stats so far:

Kills 733
Deaths 383
Headshots 63
Assists 318
Kill Death Ratio 1.91
Win Loss Ratio 4.0

BTW, the PS3 side of the crew is 3-0 in feud matches, and I think our crew's overall record is 5-10 in feud matches. Buck up XBOX:wink:

I am loving the singleplayer so far. Only up to chapter 4. The writing in this game is pretty darn good.

Multiplayer using free aim is something I have to get better at. Early on I was getting destroyed. Later on, I started to get better. I'm not really a mutiplayer guy, usually play alot of sports and rpgs, but I am really enjoying this.

The crew stats, certain player stats, and online servers in general have been kinda wonky since release, and it's hard to tell how many feuds we have won and lost. The number at the top of the OS4L page on Social Club seems to change a lot, and it sometimes display some misleading numbers. Right now, it's better to check the rival crews section to get an accurate wins/loss record for feuds.

Lol, there was a group we played 3 times that totally destroyed us. They were all high level and had masks and stuff...lol.

Anybody have a favorite gun or guns yet? I've been rockin' these four loadouts: the M4 Shotgun with dual-wield 32. Revolver and PT92, the SAF 40. with Dual Wield 32. Revolver and PT92, the mini-30 with a PT92, and another just dual-wielding the PT92 and M1911. You really can't miss with some of the guns so far. The M10 is pretty good too. My favorite burst so far is big dog with the health boost for you and your team. It works as well as a painkiller when your in a time spot.

This game is everything I was hoping would be for single player; great graphics, great acting, awesome story and cutscenes, and some of the coolest, most badass third-person gameplay in quite some time.

Also, to go a little further on graphics, I really don't think Rockstar gets enough credit here. The amount of detail and artistic touches they put into their environments always amazes me. Yes, other games may look a little better when zoomed up close to the character models, but Rockstar always delivers the whole package. This goes back to Red Dead and LA Noir too... every different area/location in the game feels distinct and unique, and looks exactly like one would think that place would look. I'm not saying we're on Uncharted's level here, but it's damn close when you take the time to look at all the detail, destructible environments, etc.
