I got the special edition preOrder from GameStop. I really enjoyed the 1st Assassin's creed, and the second one was nigh a Masterpiece.Comment

No, Adam and Eve stole the apple and escaped from Eden. It looked like humans were slaves of either the people you talk to at the end or whoever they were fighting against.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

 Re: Assassin's Creed 2

I really need to get into this but MW2, NHL 10 and NBA 2k10 plus my Madden leagues have taken up most of my game time. This game just hasn't been able to pull me in since I got my Xbox back last month.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

 Re: Assassin's Creed 2

I'm being a bit of an achievement whore with this game. That being said, anyone able to do the throw sand in the face of 4 enemies at once? I've only been able to do 3 at once. It's not for a lack of trying either.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
 NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
 NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers

 NHL: Calgary Flames

I was able to get it without too much effort, but maybe do the smoke bomb with a big group around you and then try the sand throw.

I've tried that and it doesn't let me throw sand while all of those guys are coughing from the smoke bomb. I'll keep trying things though. I think it's funny that I've done all sorts of difficult things in this game but can't pull this one off. MLB: Cincinnati Reds MLB: Cincinnati Reds

 Re: Assassin's Creed 2

Just got the game last week and I'm about 4-5 hours in it. Any tips for a beginner though on what armor I should get or what kind of weapons I should get towards the beginning? Thanks.

Also where can I get more of those weapons for Da Vinci to de-code for me to use? Do you have to find them or does the story lead you to more of them? Thanks.Comment

 Re: Assassin's Creed 2

You buy armor and weapons from the smith, in most cases. As the story progresses, more will become available. You'll be able to view the differences between weapons and armor that you pick up by checking them out in the viewing room of the home villa. The codex pages can be taken to Leonardo. I think what really made things a little easier for me is really building up my home city, which generates revenue, and picking up treasure rather quickly, especially after buying maps for their locations.Just got the game last week and I'm about 4-5 hours in it. Re: Assassin's Creed 2

Loving this game. Just getting into it. I know I'm real late. Part one really hooked me, and the design in this game is helping me with a project that I'm working on. Upgrading my home base has definitely kept the game pretty easy so far. Right now I'm in Venice, though I don't know how deep into the game that is. I love all of the additions to the combat. The dodge saves me when my counter timing is rotten. You buy armor and weapons from the smith, in most cases. As the story progresses, more will become available.
