Getting through an entire level unnoticed was always an achievement.

The first Tenchu was soooo good.

I probably truly fell in love with stealth in shooters. Games like Black and Rainbow Six where you have the option to shoot, or sneak, I always tried to go through the stage without being seen.

I really fell in love forever in Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I got the Invisible Man achievement without even knowing what it was.

I love stealth. If available I will always choose the stealth path. I'm hoping Deus Ex 3 will allow stealth play, and I know that its going to be in Alpha Protocol.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Go back and try some for the PS2 you probably didn't.

I loved Spy Fiction. I had to trade it in because I kept playing through it even after the 5 times it takes to unlock everything. Takes 2 times and I believe some specific actions to get the real story wich is full of plot twists. Might be 2 times for each character actually. That disguise camera was so awesome.

Stolen is ok. It's just about all stealth, combat is difficult and frowned upon and you only ever knock guys out, can't kill anyone. Like the art thief idea.

Shadow of Rome is half stealth but the combat half is so awesome I couldn't enjoy the stealth part. Also has a pretty good story.

I could never get the controls down good enough for that game. I slowly drifted away from it because of that. Wish i could have. There aren't really any true stealth ninja games besides Tenchu. Everything's all action. Perhaps an Assassin's creed spinoff/sequel in Asian territory.

Hitman is my favorite all time stealth game, over MGS and Splinter Cell. I always loved the more open ended objective structure. I'm still waiting for the current-gen version to come out.

Isn't there a new WWII stealth-based game coming out this year? I forget the name of it right now.

Man I was horrible on Splinter Cellouble Agent lol.

Would always find a way to get caught every time and could never get through a mission without getting shot at. Even bought the strategy guide and that still didn't help lol.

But yea, MGS is probably my favorite stealth series of all time, with Sons of Liberty my favorite.

I love the stealth genre far more realistic to play. I hate games where you just run around shooting at everything..I loved the splinter cell and syphon filter series. And MGS is also awesome.

I love stealth titles. Tell me this though. Wouldn't a tenchu release with the production value of Metal Gear automatically be game of the year? Flat out. Devs out here are some smart cats, but not one of them can see this vision? That is just unacceptable, lol.

They did have the great idea of going and making a new tenchu for the Wii (of all systems). Great idea! You all know I'm being sarcastic right, lol. Who in the hell thought up that wonderful idea?

Stealth with segments of action opposed to action with segments of ... more action. It's like, give me some time to think and plan this out already! I'd much rather kill someone without them even knowing I was there than I would get in some medium-distance joust with guns. Let me flank. Let me creep up on a foo and take him down with a choke-wire.

Games automatically gain points for me when they have silenced weapons and no enemy respawns. Even better is when they give the enemies little animations that make them more real, which makes the stealth kill even better.

Rainbow Six is great for that. They'll be sitting around, talking about banging their girlfriend when they get back home...then: "pfft! pfft!"..shhh....

When you get a co-op partner that has the same mindset and skillset...man, it is really heavenly.

They still haven't fully explored stealth. Hitman has some good ideas, but the execution is terrible, IMO. I want more air vents, more disguises, more garrote, and more acrobatics in my stealth.

Imagine sneaking into someone's office, killing them, stealing their indentity a la Mission Impossible and walking out of the place. I hope they continue to take stealth seriously.
