Thanks guys, I'll do that tonight. Hopefully I won't stay up too late tonight.

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Honestly, I feel bartering is fairly useless, I hardly ever buy anything anyway because I pocket everything that's not nailed down.
Speech is OK, you can skip some stuff, avoid some fights, weasel some better rewards, etc but I don't think it's intrinsically better than science or lockpick (both tend to give similar advantages).Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
For me... speech is much more important than bartering. I'd say you definitely want speech at 50 by level 6 or 7, but I always make my characters charismatic. Lockpick is also pretty important, as well as sneak. I wouldn't worry too much about barter though. If you're just going to kill everyone, then you probably wouldn't need to worry about speech that much either.Comment

Yep. Got absolutely wrecked by a pack of them last night. I was tearing through everything pretty easy up until then.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
Did you find the bunker. There's a gap in the fence and then two different bunkers go in the first one you come upon. And go up to the locked door and wait for a couple of seconds, and some guys should come out.Last edited by CC; 10-21-2010, 04:40 PM.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
SpoilerOK, well I had already done that. Once you complete "Ring-a-Ding-Ding" (the quest I assume you are doing). You will get another quest and a part of that quest you confront different tribes, and it directs you to go to Hidden Valley among other interesting places. So you must have to have that Quest before you can get in.
Has anyone found a good shop/merchant where I can get a bunch of stimpacks. I've only found maybe 3 shops and I have a feeling I am going to need them on the quest I'm about to do.Last edited by CC; 10-21-2010, 05:39 PM.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
SpoilerGood question, wish I had found one before I entered the "There Stands The Grass" mission. UGH!
It's rough down here...
Having some issues locating this research data I'm supposed to download and with only 40-50% health remaining, these ****ing Giant Mantis creatures are making it extremely difficult.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
So through my travels (just outside the Vegas strip right now, BTW, which looks awesome from a distance), I have had my own side mission: find the Ranger Sequoia. I remember checking out the Fallout Wiki before the game came out, and it's basically a revolver that shoots rifle bullets, and is easily the most bad*** looking gun in the game. Still no luck though.
Although I did find a hunting revolver, which is a ridiculously awesome scoped revolver.Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
I have the Fallout Vegas strategy guide, and you can have more than 1 follower. Actually, your party can get fairly big if you know how to mix and match the various types of characters.Comment

I picked up the strat guide too but haven't really checked it out yet (been too busy playing). I will say that it is easily the largest strat guide I have ever seen, that thing's a beast.xbl gamertag: n8 b 77

Just a reminder even though you guys are doing a decent job:
Please use spoiler tags when talking about any part of the actual gameplay.
Thanks again!Comment

Re: Fallout: New Vegas
SpoilerWell I had a follower already, and the sniper guy accepted my invite to join my party, but wouldn't come with me because he said I didn't have room for him. Must be the same type of character as my other party member. I don't know how they are the same though.Comment
