          Okay...I'll try that.
          Thanks.

          With ED-E....what do you mean?
I left him in Primm and didn't fix him or bring him to Gibson.
          Suggestions?

          Thanks..

ED-E's enhances sensors perk lets you see Nightkin on radar when invisible, and going into VATS breaks that invisibility completely. With just a minimum of sneak (maybe 30) I was able to sneak up on the invisible Nightkin and hit them with a sneak critical to disarm before they ever saw me.

I went back and got Boone before I dealt with the Nightkin. That solved my problem pretty quickly. There's no way I could've done that on my own.

Has the second patch been released for the console versions yet? I'm itching to start this up but fear the glitches.

                    I don't think so.

I didn't really have any issues at all with the game. It took me 50 hours and only froze 5-6 times between hours 6-20. Other than that I had no freezes or save issues other than the occasional enemy getting stuck in a rock (which is to be expected from a Bethesda game), and I was playing on the troublesome 360S.

Just trying to give you reassurance that you most likely won't have any problems, even with out a patch.

I pretty much reached the breaking point with this game. I loved Fallout 3. It was one of my favorite games of all time. Kept me engrossed for hours. This game is a mess. Can't play for more than 30 minutes without it freezing up. Selling it on Amazon today.

The said on Twitter today that the patch is done and submitted. No date yet - they have to clear Microsoft and Sony before they can say anything.

                          Re: Fallout: New Vegas

So i finished up my play through as an 'evil' character. I had maxed guns, repairs and medical this time.

                          Spoiler

My next play through has already started (first one took about 55 hours and I had maybe 5 or 6 freezes in total around the 20-30 hour marks) but this time I'm being an honourable Ninja type character with high melee, unarmed and speech. I'm going max this guy out this time around before finishing the game. Having a melee character was a bit harder at first but now i have Boone covering people from distance and me upper cutting them if they get close it has gotten a little easier. Great game!

I actually made it through there on my own....half with the rebar club and the other half with my trusty Cowboy Repeater.

I've had zero problems with freezing or bugs of any kind so far.

The biggest thing with all these games is quest overload. There is one after the other on top of the other on top of another until you've forgot the original one you were working on. They do have a pretty solid system for keeping tabs on your quests...but..

Other than that, I'm truly enjoying this game.

Yah I've got 15 active right now. 1 is from a mod and I think 2 are technically done but still. Then there's 3-6 unmarked ones active.
