I agree with what someone said earlier where they said something to the effect of "Its more fun to buy the game than play it". I agree 100% for alot of the titles I buy. Currently on my desk I have about 5 games that I haven't even opened yet (Including BF 1942 and MVP2003 PC). I just don't have the desire to get into some of these games. I think the complexity of some games turns me off (I'm dreading that BF will be too hard and I 'll get my *** handed to me throughly by online players who are veterans). I think I actually enjoy coming on OS more and posting messages than actually playing the games, or maybe I'm just getting too old, and I'm only 22.

I notice the same thing...sometimes I just don't feel like getting ready for a couple hours of gaming...but then again there are still games I could play for hours and hours...
I guess it's part of growing older and finding that gaming niche. My free time is more valuable now, so can't just play games like I used toNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Is this you??
I also use GameFAQs more now than I used to. When I was a kid I could sit for a week figuring something out, but nowadays I just get frustrated and don't have the patience to spend the time necessary. I lose out on some of the gaming experience, sure, but I get a lot farther in the game than I would by getting frustrated and just stop playing.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Is this you??
Another side note to the gaming issue, is that I miss the "simplicity" of games. I don't know whether it was because I was young and had nothing else to do, but I could sit there for hours and play Ninja Giden (sp) forever.Comment

Re: Is this you??
Others might question you, "Why are you still stuck in the past, wasting money on pointless baubles?" But to you, playing the game reminds you of a simpler time in your life when your only priority was having fun. Reminds you of the years when you could waste weekends huddled around a console
yeah thats it......VIOLATION!!!!!!!!Comment

yep...we're the first generation that really grew up with video games, and even though we're in our 20's now, we don't want to give them up. However our gaming desires will change...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Is this you??
That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO me...Games I have sitting up there that I haven't finished...Halo, Splinter Cell, Played 1 season of my Madden Franchise this year, never have played my Ghost Recon single player. I bought 007, never made it past the first level before I traded it in. Bought Def Jam Vendetta, played it a couple times, traded it in last week. I'll probably be getting Brute Force, RTCW, Counterstrike, Halo 2 and I'll probably never make it to the ending of any of them. It's like I've developed ADD as I get older. I said I'm sticking strictly with sports games but you guys here at OS influence me to buy just about every "must have" game that comes out. My wife suggested that I cut back on my gaming expense while we save for a house and just for the future in general. I looked at her and said, "Are you serious?""Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell
