ViDoc is out. This is light years ahead of Halo 3 and ODST across the board. Can't be anymore excited.

I usually feel Halo is the most overrated game on the market next to Final Fantasy (yet I've owned every Halo), but this one has me really excited. I enjoyed ODST more than 2 and 3 combined, so this should be great.

Yeah, i'm interested in this but still unsure. I think I'm moving away from purely online focused games...

Halo 2 fans take note - you have ten weeks left to play multiplayer games over Xbox LIVE before the service will be discontinued. Microsoft announced today that as of April 15th they will no longer be supporting the original Xbox console or software on Xbox LIVE. This also applies to original games being played on an Xbox 360.

We're all saddened at the realization that an era is coming to an end, but looking back we're incredibly fortunate to have had such a great run and such strong support from our fans. Halo 2 has been at the top of the Xbox LIVE charts for original games since it launched over five years ago. We're extremely thankful to everyone who has played, enjoyed and supported Halo 2 over Xbox LIVE. We've had some great fun together, including far too many Humpday losses to even recount.

That said, mark your calendars now - on April 14th let's all rally to go online for one last hoorah. One final farewell and one final opportunity for all of you to kick all of our asses at Halo 2.

A few more details out of X10 from various interviews.

• Absolutely no duel-wielding in Reach.
• Elites are in multiplayer. Haven't specified in what manner. The height difference is the same in multiplayer, their over a foot taller than a Spartan-III.
• Going to be surprised by how much content is in the beta. Will get a taste of almost every major system. Looking forward to the feedback on the new gametypes. Taking some big risks.

Considering Elites during this time are enemies, there's a lot cool ways they could play with that in multiplayer.

Like the risks, makes me more intrigued. I do think its safe to say that there will be a Hoard mode in it. Would be surprised if they dont.

Love how the halo reach video looks and can wait to play the beta. Hope you get to play as that guy with the skull on the visor he looks really cool. Does any one know about what mite be coming with the collectors game this time around.

Know one really knows yet and the last I heard the release date for the actual game is just listed as late 2010.

And IDK at being able to play as "Skully". Maybe in multiplayer? BTW his real name is Emile.

Wow and on the video released in x10 it said fall of 2010. Hopfully u will be able to play as him or her what ever it is lol . They should also make the game have two stories like a spartan one and the the elite one that would be alsome.

I'm going to say you won't be able to play as Emile, but with customization being a big thing, you will be able to unlock his helmet.

I do think its safe to say that there will be a Hoard mode in it. Would be surprised if they dont.

Firefight with matchmaking has pretty much been confirmed.

They should also make the game have two stories like a spartan one and the the elite one that would be alsome.

Halo 2 kind of did this, and it was met with mixed reactions amongst the fans.

That would be pretty cool, I really like his visor. Will u be able to do like a 4 player online story mode. I also hope u will be able to fly a pelican, that would be fun. Did they say anything about any new vehicle?
