Exactly, except its just soo much better. In every way. I purposely made it as generic as possible to not ruffle any feathers. lol

i just figured I'd let u guys know how awesome it is, since i've not liked a Halo campaign since the 1st game. And that game suffered from repetitive environments.

Ends now. If you can't prove you own the game and are giving impressions based off a pirated copy or at a "friend's house", you will be banned no questions asked, just like in any sports forum.

So far, Candyman is the only person here who can give any impressions.

I know you always want it early and don't care about price, there's several ebay auctions shipping today. All a little over $100 with buy it now. Saw the one guy had like 40 copies from Colorado. LOL

I saw that one from Colorado. I'm tempted. He told me I had to do it by 1:30pm est. time to get it tomorrow. Trying to hold out for my regular guy who sells me games for $54 plus $18 overnight. Decisions, decisions. Lol

Candy: You may not have played any MP yet, but do you know if grenades are as lethal as they were in the beta? Also, has the reticle bloom on headshot weapons been changed at all?

Today the servers were finally up. I have noticed that the DMR seems to have the bloom reduced slightly plus the default Spartan speed is bumped a little. Grenades have to be an accurate throw. The range isnt as bad as in the beta however they still pack the same punch.

Well I played basically from 3:00pm/4pm - till about 9pm and im on the 5th level I think. It really all depends on where you get stuck and etc. I really cant estimate. I am playing on Legendary as well.

As Vast says, the battles are great. It seems like every encounter has some for of strategy to it. Ex: Do I take out Elites first and then focus on lesser races or do I eliminate the Grunts/Jackals so I have room to move around without being shot. Once again I am on Legendary. The story so far has been great, the Cutscenes as well are spectacular. Bungie wasnt lying when they said that the new way they approach the cutscenes really effect the game. Its like your really there and not some outsider.

I am posting my gameplay experience now.Ther are no Spoilers but I am going to put it in a Spoiler Tag even though its not a Spoiler. Its more along the lines of what Vast posted but I seen how some people thought it should be spoiler tagged so:

GAMEPLAY
I am curently on the 5th level playing on Legendary and it great so far. Enemies are more menacing and it feels like a challenge. Enemies now will flank you and use more tactics like staying behind cover and etc. Another thing is Jackals are insane in a coridor, I mean they tear you up. I love that, it allows you to come up with strategies as well. Should I throw an grenade and beatdown after thier stunned or should I switch up my weaponry a little. Elites on legendary are insane as well. They one hit kill beat down you and the shotgun to the face doesn't always work. One time it took me 4-5 point blank shotgun shots to kill one. 2-3 to eliminate shields and 2 to kill. The sniper also isnt always a one hit kill depending on the Rank of the Elite you shoot at. High ranks usually take 2 shots to take down shields and 1 to kill. Hunters are rediculis in Legendary as well. Bullet sponges to the max. Your allied Spartans actually do damage as well as far as I could tell. Marines however get severely owned.

thanks for the impressions, candy. I'm curious if the forge maps are included in the same playlists as the regular multiplayer maps. I would think the answer is yes, but I'm not sure.

Yes they cycle through Matchmaking as well.
