I had no plans to get this game until I read the reviews today. I got bored with Halo 3 (especially the campaign), but it sounds like there's a lot more to Reach. Might have to pick it up at some point.

Re: Halo: Reach
I've ordered and cancelled two different times tonight. Just can't make up my mind since I'm not a huge fan of the Halo series (always hated how most battles were ended with a melee attack because it took all of your ammo just to remove their shields) but I loved the campaigns. Just don't know if I can make myself buy it with NBA 2k11, Fallout: New Vegas, Fable 3, and COD Black Ops coming out in the next 2 months..Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
I don't know if I'm getting Reach. I'm tempted, the reviews are all awesome, but then again the reviews of Halo 3 were amazing and I wasn't a fan of that...
I may wait a bit and see if you guys think it's more of the same Halo or if they've actually modernized things some. Halo 3 was Halo 2.5 for me. I need a bit more than a multiplayer refresh...I don't play exclusively online anymore, and I don't have the time to play constantly like you need to compete with a lot of the people on there.Last edited by mgoblue; 09-13-2010, 02:22 PM.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Really looking forward to tomorrow. I was a big fan of Halo 3 and Reach is looking much better. Ladies and Gentlemen make no mistake about it, the Bungie team will be going out on top!!!Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
I love the concept of Daily and Weekly Challenges (kind of like World of Warcraft).
Bungie.net
Completing Daily and Weekly Challenges will go a long way to helping you earn big payouts. Each day, you'll be able to access the available and active Challenges from the main menu in game. Press A when highlighting any Challenge and the game will magically whisk you into the correct lobby. As you progress through each individual challenge, the game will display a measure of your progress in game so you know how close you are to the big payout.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Online I think there will be enough casual Halo players on my friends list for a few weeks. Then there's firefight which could be the mode that keeps me from selling this one after a month.Comment

Re: Halo: Reach
For some reason I'm excited for the campaign mode, along with Forge. Hope to see some cool racetracks created by some of the users.Comment
