    Re: Rock Band 3

We’ve released a new title update today which addresses an issue with how Rock Band 3 scores certain songs with Pro Guitar/Bass parts. There was a discrepancy in how the game dealt with songs using the 17-fret Mustang controller versus the 22-fret Fender Squier controller which resulted in scores posting with no Star values. This has now been resolved with today’s update.
So jack all for 99% of people.

      even more worrying...

While we don’t have any additional title updates planned for the foreseeable future, we hope this further illustrates our ongoing commitment to supporting the new Pro Guitars as well as you all who make our community so great!

I'm honestly okay with no RB4 or track packs as long as the DLC keeps coming for RB3 and RBN.

Well that's a sad update. Also I'm cool with just doing dlc. I think they should offer better deals and bundles. 1.99 is high for a single song. Maybe 3 for $5 or something. More of an incentive to buy more songs. Or create your own dlc pack for purchase at a discount.

According to a few sites including guitar maker Gibson.com and music news site AntiMusic.com comes word that we will be seeing a three pack of Roy Orbison tracks dropping as DLC next week in a pack called the “Roy Orbison: 75th Birthday Pack.” The pack will include the following songs (no word yet on which songs may include Pro-Guitar/Bass features):

                  * Blue Bayou
                  * Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)
                  * Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel)
Yesterday, James from IndustryGamers had a chance to speak with Greg LoPiccolo, VP of Product Development at Harmonix about the future, particularly E3. Greg commented that ”We’ll have at least one bit of significant news at E3.” Whether that means a new title for Rock Band, Dance Central, or a brand new title altogether, Greg wasn’t saying.

We have known for some time that there will be a Dance Central 2,

Intresting RBN release. A song so long it had to be broken in 2 parts. No it's not Iron Butterfly. Just a random no-name band. Oddly enough they charged $2 for each part.

The Acro-Brats of RB 1 bonus "fame" also have a new song there.

                    And something from Insomniac.
Not the Green Day album, the game company that makes Rachet & Clank and Resistance...

Plus a few other random things.

Roy + 2 live KISS songs,Rock n Roll All Nite (cause we don't have that enough times already) and Strutter (cause we don't have that enough times already too!).

On a side note I seem to have the best luck with female drummers online. They always have everything and don't pick terrible songs.

We don't have these versions on any game; or these songs in any form, whatsoever, in Rock Band. Why you seem to hate songs shared between both franchises confuses the hell out of me. (Unless I'm thinking of someone else. In that case, my apologies. )

If it was a KISS 6 pack that had those 2 and 4 other songs then I woudn't mind. Now it'll be at least 3-6 months before there's another KISS song/pack. Then it'll end up being Love Gun (RB 3/4 version),Calling Dr. Love (RB 3/4 version) and Deuce (RB 3/4 version). I wanna play I Love it Loud,Heaven's on Fire and God Gave Rock 'n Roll to You but I can't. If I wanted to play Rock 'n Roll All Nite or Strutter I can turn on GH. I know not everyone can so it's fine to have them in RB but again those are the only songs they're putting out.

                            Hey gang,

We've got an excellent assortment of singles this week, with 3 tracks from the 80's and 3 more from the 90's. There's some straight pop, some alternative, some metal (funk metal?) and more. Personally, I'll be playing "Working For The Weekend" at every event ever until I am physically dragged off stage. Enjoy!

We find out about unannounced DLC artists, how many songs have been downloaded, and why we won't see Rock Band 4 soon.

Noted some DLC coming up in May,

Awesome. Though I'm probably the only one looking forward to more Foo Fighters, given that sometimes the DLC releases seemed to turn this game into Dave Grohl: Rock Band, lol.
