A LOT of stuff I don't know but other stuff I'll definitely enjoy.

Just because I haven't heard it doesn't mean it sucks. I've always trusted HMX and I'll continue to do so.

By the way, there's the list where you can play each song straight from the list, don't have to search it.

I figure I'll check em out now.

You know, I don't care that much about how much I do or don't like the setlist, because I know I already have a library of like 400 songs that I will be able to play in addition to this.

And for what it's worth, I'm pumped for a good amount of songs so far. Smoke on the Water will be great (and I never played GH1 or Smash Hits), Radar Love, Walk of Life are ones I know well. Power of Love, Rainbow in the Dark etc from the already confirmed songs. I'm good with it. And I've been turned on to a fair amount of new artists by this game, so I'm definitely headed into it with an open mind.

You'd think so but they're really not. The Radar Love in GH was a cover of a cover but I don't think it'll make that much difference.

Smoke on the Water is pretty much red, yellow, blue and then green, red, yellow over and over and over then a couple of sustain chords during the chorus and then the solo.

The good part of Radar Love is actually on bass.

They might be fun on vox.

It's nice to know there's likely nothing as awful as Visions in this game. I think the worst song is Oh My God.

Might as well just edit this in:

We'll release a NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN Rock Band 3 trailer when we hit 500,000 fans on Facebook! Help us get there! http://bit.ly/dyGhIT

                  re: Rock Band 3

Hopefully we get some track packs of Creed, Alter Bridge, Black Label Society, Soundgarden, etc. to mix it up a bit when RB3 releases. The last few months have been so-so with DLC content.

Like Miz, I'm not too fond of the setlist except for about 10 or so songs........but it will be nice to have updated features in RB3 to enjoy like hopefully having a full band that can be used all the time outside of career. I hate having such random characters in RB2.

Well you'll have to buy RB 3 anyway to keep using DLC.

The thing that's consistently been true about the Rock Band games' main setlists is that there is something for everyone. RB3's set list may be the best example of this yet.

FINALLY, Harmonix has catered to thsoe of us who like classic rock and abhor the bulk of the modern, scream wildly into the mic while hitting six-note chords left and right, type songs. Over HALF of this setlist is songs from the 1980's or earlier. Such great hits that have never been in Rock Band before. I don't play GH because I think their charting is horrific, their games are horrible, and their policies are criminal. So finally getting to play Freebird has me so psyched.

Whitesnake. Def Leppard. Tears For Fears. Dire Straits. Ozzy. The Doors. Warren freaking Zevon. Tom Petty. The Cure. Chicago. Yes. Golden Earring. THE DOOBIE BROTHERS!!!!! J. Geils Band. Dio. STP. John Lennon. The list goes on and on in terms of greatness. I am so glad to finally get a disc filled with songs from the eras and genres I like.
You do realize Imagine will be horrible in game unless you're on keys right?

                                4 theories people have:

                                1. It's something amazingly awesome. (Stairway,Comfortably Numb)
                                2. We're gonna get "Rick roll'd".
                                3. It's the spot where Spinning Wheel used to be.
                                4. They downloaded 1 song. (Turns out this is probably it as Toxicity was on the bulid)
