    re: Rock Band 3

Play count and review will be very useful. Though I guess that'd take a while to actually have it sorted out.

On the actual page there's a pic with Been Caught Stealing having 5 stars and a 79%

I hope the song reccomend feature extends to RBN. Don't really need it for the current music store, that's easy to keep track of with mostly known artists.

What I've been begging for in RB since GH3 with their scoring...

Scoring: Rock Band 3 will include a GREATLY improved score details screen with a score breakdown showing points accumulated via accuracy, streak, overdrive, solo, and sustain. It will also show how a single player did versus how the entire band performed.
      Compatibility

“We have the technology to update older songs and DLC for keyboards, pro-guitar, and pro-bass, and maybe harmonies. Two things: 1. Keep in mind, especially any of you familiar with the RBN, there are no keyboard audio streams in those old songs, there’s like actual substantial changes, so if you miss a note with the keyboard, the keyboard goes away, which we think is really important for gameplay. [2.] And it’s a lot of f**king work.”

“For right now, we’re focused on launching Rock Band 3, the first slate of DLC (the first DLC going forward with keyboards, will have keyboards), and then I think we’re going to do some selective updating of the back catalog. We don’t have time on our calendar, we don’t have pricing, and we don’t have information on how it’s going to work yet.”
I'm getting more excited for this game. Only a month away!

Finally! I'm so surprised no one has asked that question (or that it hasn't been revealed) until now about compatibility. At least the technology exists! This will be the only way I'll shell out for the Squire Stratocaster, because I can actually play many of the songs on real guitar (of course not ones with heavy solo work, but I definitely have my share that I can play).

Ah, missed it. I guess I don't read the articles as much as I read sections and responses that members highlight.

Regardless, it was a long time coming for this news to come out. I'm just surprised there weren't more questions about that.

Anybody heard about breakneck/hyperspeed in this game? Is it going to finally be separate this year for each instrument?

Also does anybody know if the game will have multiple speeds like in the GH series?

So it just occurred to me... did they make a Squire Stratocaster for left-handed guitarists?

What's everyone buying this week? I am a HUGE Bob Marley fan, but let's be honest...some of these tracks are gonna be pretty lame to play. While I'm tempted to just buy the pack to support HMX and Bob's music, I feel like I'm wasting some extra M$ points. I think I'm going to just cherry pick 5-6 songs.
