Did you try single player again? The title update should have wiped out your progress.

Even though it corrupts the save, I was still able to start back to the last Act/Chapter that I was on.

Maybe you guys can help me because I'm confused:

My biggest gripe with DLC is exactly what's happneing now: too much "exclusive" content to this and that so as a consumer, you don't know where to go to get what. I saw Amazon, Gamestop and Walmart all have exclusive DLC with their in-store purchase, but also I believe I saw a "compillation pass?" that you can purchase that comes with all current and future content???

The issue here is not being priced gouged, so please do not start this into an ethical battle over that. My question: has anyone found where to see all the packages so I can compare them as to which one I want? Obviously, I want to find the best deal.

ALL of the preorder DLC is nothing but skins for multiplayer. So it ends up you picking whichever one you think looks the best I guess. I did Amazon for the $20 credit, don't care about the multiplayer skin.

The Season Pass gives you the four DLC packages coming for basically half price. It's $30 and you buy it from XBL.

Season pass is worth it if you play a lot of Gears. The weapon skins are not.

For those who haven't followed the game much, there are free weapon skins you can unlock by hitting certain milestones or earning certain achievements. There are also ones you can buy, and you can buy them individually. Thus you don't have to buy the entire weapon skin pack if you only like one or two of them.

There are like four different versions of the electrical skin, lol.

For 240 MSP a pop, they seem to be taking a page out of the freemium model of doing things.
