Just heard on Rebel FM that this is 20-30 hours. Wow.

Any other confirmation on this? One thing I hate about Gears in the past as each game is usually only 4 hours long if that. I expect much the same this time, but.....

Try playing on insane and see if it only takes you four hours.

I played on Normal first time through Gears 1-2 and they took me longer than 4 hours. I'm pretty sure Gears 2 took about 11 hours too.

From what I can recall, Gears 2 was about 7-8 hours on Normal difficulty.......but on Insane, from what I remember people saying is its about 10+ hours like you said since it takes more work to kill enemies.

Well I can't wait till tomorrow. Gonna dive into SP on this little 20 inch LCD and play just the 1st level. Wish me luck..

I played this one map in mp called "Trenches" and it is just gorgeous!!! Someone may can explain this better but during the match it's like this huge "Duststorm" blows threw the area. Simple Incredible. Another map that really legt me speechless I can't remember but it was by water/beaches. Gotta be the best looking game for the 360 imo.

I'm not kidding my mouth dropped when I saw this. I thought Killzone 3's graphics where sick!!!. This has surpassed that imo and I honestly thought that no game would ever look better than KZ3

For those that are not familiar with the Gears series there is a section before you start the SP called "Previously in Gears" which summarizes the events of precious Gears of War games.

Just some quick impressions of SP. No doubt it's GOW3 and for me it has a fresh feel compared to GOW2 which I barely remember. Lol

A lot of OH "CUSSWORD"!!!! moments. Gotta say you can really tell when a developer puts effort into a game and when they don't and in this case they put a lot of effort. Still on Act 1 and I want to quit because I want to experience this SP on my 50 inch Plasma but I can't stop. Gonna find the strength to pry myself away and go back to MP and enjoy this game at home.

Well woth the $70 bones to get it early. Hell I would have paid $100 and not been disappointed.
